Change from 1 giant city to controlling multiple cities in a region, probably done to cut cost of cpu cycles running the simulation. And as for servers all game makers do it, they buy a conservative amount of server space then expand on launch day because it's cheaper then buying an exorbitant amount of server space and cutting back just to how agreements are probably structured. | ||

THe City Size has something to do with the DRM. The DRM works because alot of the city is computed on the Servers and if the Cities are bigger, the Serverload would be even higher. The cities are that small, because they don't want to spend alot of cash on servers. There will be no bigger cities until they remove the online-only drm! | ||

BF3, it was over a week before you could reliably join a game in one or two shots. I was fucking livid because I took off the day following launch ahah | ||
