More like 10.
origin works just like steam, with the exception that they have a clause in their ToS that enables them to delete games from your library after 2 years without reason.

Also, the only thing that I can think of EA doing that would really suck is capping city size as is, and then offering "pay for bigger space". Edit: Oh, there we go. Downloading now.

Now the question remains, should I play Sim City 3000 or Sim City 4?

But that might be because I log in quite late. BTW, if anyone wanna get the region going together, feel free to add me in origin friend at Veldril151.

I would definitely recommend SC4 to anyone wanting to play this franchise, it's a fantastic game.

I have never played Simcity (that i remember of), but i've always liked that kind of games. sim city 4 is based on a complicated statistics system, especially for traffic. It does not simulate each citizen, it just makes statistics about them and then represents that in the game. The pro of that is that simcity 4 can support rather huge maps. I have maps where i build 4 villages plus farmland in a single map. The new simcity is a reboot, it simulates every citizen and every litre of water etc. The positive is that its very accurate and what you see on the screen is 100% the reality of your city. Downside is that apparently only 2x2km maps are sustainable right now, which is basically a small town. So, the new simcity is a lot more user friendly and it looks fun from what i have seen, but you are not gonna build a city. Its simtown, which isnt a bad thing, but it is nnot really a successor of simcity4.

Too bad, the game looked like it might have been fun. Now I certainly won't purchase it with all these issues.
