Good thing I traded Maurice Jones-Drew and Malcom Floyd for Brandon Marshall and Trent Richardson. This whole starting Brandon Marshall thing doesn't seem to be working so far.

Cutler's decision-making, the play calling -- people want to blame the Bears O-line (and they do suck) but the problems are more than that. I'll be a better Bears fan when Cutler is gone. At least with Grossman you knew he was going to suck. Cutler has a good arm, and occasionally rockets some passes in short receptions that make him and the whole offense look really good (like last week).

But there is just a leadership problem with this team that prevents them from having any real identity in their offense. The play calling was crazy, crazy, crazy stupid. And Cutler just didn't have any rhythm or awareness. It was like he was picking his targets at random. Alshon is open, the RB is open enough, but under pressure he decides to lob one far and high into some double coverage -- like it's Brandon Marshall's job to be Larry Fitzgerald all of a sudden, and Cutler might as well be Kevin Kolb. I'm so done with the Lovie/Cutler era. Grossman was more enjoyable than this.

edit: On the other hand, Aaron Rodgers numbers this game are definitely misleading. He was actually awesome, he had a lot of perfect passes early in the game that were just dropped. His receivers, except Jordy, were just bad this game. I liked how Donald Driver came in for a play and showed them all up.

Only watched bits and pieces, but that Bears Oline is still as fucking awful as ever. Shit. Cutler certainly didn't bring his A game and made plenty of dumb decisions, but man they looked like dog shit. You simply can't win anything when your line can't block anyone. The only way you get by with a shit line like that is how philly does it: fast qb, with lots of short routes to other fast players and screens.

How do penalties count towards a players stats? If pass interference is called, do the WR and QB get credit for the yards/reception? or if there is a personal foul on a running play, does the RB get the extra 15 yards in his box score?

no and no. I don't even think there is an option for this in any of the major fantasy sites.

Pretty sure you can't chose an option to dock defenses or players for taking a penalty either. If you can, it definitely isn't standard.

I had Jay in one league, but that was mitigated by my opponent starting that rookie Bears wideout and Jordy, I believe.

I have Forte and Jordy. Both scored below expectations and Forte is injured. Pretty much everybody except Crosby had terrible fantasy numbers.

Looked like Martz's offense last night. All sorts of deep routes behind a line that was about as useful as a pot hole in slowing people down. They rushed three several times, and all three got through.

I know Cutler sucked last night, but people saying he should have seen Jeffries are dumb. He was just trying to not lose 10 yards. The lob to Marshall was a good decision, poorly executed. Marshall also missed a dime in the end zone, which would have taken a lot of pressure off of everyone in the later stages.

My concerns about the D look to be valid, but giving up 24 to GB isn't that bad. Still, for three years now, they haven't figured out how to get off the field on third and long. Being great on first and second is only good if you're good on third down, which they aren't.

The Bears played bad, and they should feel bad...
