What is it with people discussing their achievements or the impact they had and some people always refer to it as a circle jerk? Is there some like deep inbuilt resentment of success people have developed? What's wrong with great players reflecting on their greatness?

I love Rice but he should have just laughed and moved along. Or did something cheeky like just smile and wave his hand with his rings on at a camera ^ else it just comes off as umad bro?

The thing though is the products are total bullshit, read this, which is the original report that caused the story, it's like a joke. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20130129/the-strange-lab-that-lured-numerous-athletes/?sct=hp_t11_a2 It's not clear whether IGF-1 works taken orally, some scientists/doctors are saying it has to be injected I think. Though he probably did intend to effectively take a banned substance, no matter if it worked or not, heh. Though on the other hand, isn't it sort of stupid that we sit here saying "we don't want you athletes to look for help recovering from injuries faster to get back to earning your livelihood" Also I think I like SF -3.5 for the Super Bowl, not like super confident, but I do like that side.

The Niners should win, but I can definitely see scenarios where the Ravens win. Isn't this what you said before Ravens v. Broncos and Ravens v. Patriots? ![]()

Patriots? ![]() I think I said that I couldn't see the possibility of the Ravens beating the Broncos, which obviously blew up in my face. I said that I thought that the Pats would beat the Ravens, but I expected the Ravens to play the Pats very hard (and possibly win) and thus took the Ravens to at least cover. Remember, that Pats-Ravens line was something stupid like Pats -9. Niners -3.5 is very reasonable.

I guess my general point is that the Ravens have been underdogs all the way through the playoffs (aside from the home game against the Colts), and rightfully so in my opinion (the Broncos and Pats both looked much better on paper). That said, the Ravens don't care, they will win anyway, it's what they do.

It was also by far the best 10 year stretch of Super Bowls ever.
