Pretty hard to do worse :p Oh and I am with whoever said just to snap it directly to AP.

Ba da da da! Da da da dah! Go pack go! Bring on the niners baby! I almost feel bad Ponder couldn't make it... Almost.

Man, I was so worried I'd have to make a decision between this game and Proleague. Thankfully, I don't have to anymore. What a stinker of a game. Really sad the Vikings weren't at full strength

I don't really want Ponder as our QB going forward, and this game made me sure I don't want Joe Webb either (I'll give you the lack of practice, but this is too much). The Vikings aren't THAT far away from being a decent team (their defense is much better when the game is close and they're without harvin), I'd love to see them just dump Ponder and get an Alex Smith or a similarly reliable QB.
Pipe dreams T_T

On the next touchdown, I demand a two point conversion. Rub it in. Salt in the wounds.

I agree. Minnesota is just a decent to average QB away from a being a really good team. In a couple more years there will be some really good QB coming out of college football. Most noticeably Johnny football. Kevin Hogan from Stanford also.
Do you guys think Coach Frazier will put Ponder in anytime soon?

I don't think he can if he's been deactivated.

Pipe dreams T_T AP is no gore though, gore is probably the most complete RB of this generation good solid reliable production along with being great in pass protection and being able to catch a ball. I doubt AS is quite the same without being able to check it down to gore at times. That being said AS stock is pretty good compared to 2011 his red zone production has shot way up i have no doubt he'll find at least a temp starting job somewhere if he wants it and he is young if his old injury isn't a problem he could be someones mid to long term QB, assuming he can be as efferent as he is with SF, and you can't seem to trust him chucking it more then 30 times a game.

Well, considering last year and the fact that AP took the team on his back this entire season you can't be too upset with how far we've come. This is a clusterfuck but what can you do? If you're a Vikings fan you should know the drill by now.

He hurt his elbow at some point, that's why Webb is in. You don't just throw in a QB that's played zero snaps for a playoff game =P

Elbow injury. They didn't just decide to make a QB change at the start of the playoffs. :p

Oh LMFAO. I really thought the coach decided to go with Webb because he thought Webb would give em a better chance at winning. Like how Harbaugh did up Smith with CK. Oh thanks for the 411.

Gore is a freak of nature just by being so productive for so long in this era.

I'm still sure it wasn't as hard of a decision as it should have been since Ponder was their starter...

I can not recall who did it, but basically he was sacked with the hit being mostly on the arm and I believe he is now out with an elbow injury. That the arm did not break is still a mystery to me.
Can someone confirm?
EDIT: I will take the above posts as a "yes".

Ponder is only an OK quarterback but you'd be out of your mind to take him out unless you absolutely had to. The fact that he didn't practice all week and only threw like 3 10 yard passes right before the game before being thrown on the inactive list means it wasn't just a "ah, fuck it, throw Webb in there for the lulz!" decision.
The Vikings have some shit to figure out this off season. You either need to replace ponder with a QB that can be more than just a game manager. Or you need to get him a ton of legit receivers and hope he can connect so this isn't just the AP show for his entire career.

What is going on! A vikings TD?!

Man, what a gross start to the playoffs. Both of these games were terrible. Tomorrow better deliver.

Lol, that look on Frazier's face was like "You mother fucker, why did you spike the ball? Just get this over with so I can cut you!"
