That pass from Kaepernick to Crabtree was nasty. Just a straight rocket down the middle. Teams like the Bears could learn a thing or two from that play. Maybe the Niners can sell an instructional video "How to Capitalize on a Turnover for Dummies."

Aside from that, does anyone doubt Harbaugh's decision at this point? Does anyone think that Smith would play better than Kaep has here? He wouldn't have hit that throw to Walker or Crabtree tonight, imo.

It's all about risk management...yes Kaepernick is capable of things Smith isn't, but he's also more mistake-prone. I still think SF is a better team with Smith.

Well, the second interception was, imo, a result of the blast that Whitner put on Hernandez. He alligator armed the pass, then braced for the hit immediately. That wasn't not being able to hang on to the ball; that was being scared.
