Terrible decision i feel. Dude that kicker is LEGATRON! He had the distance but wide left. I honestly think that was a good decision. You'd rather trust a 50 yrd hail mary from Bradford? He already missed a 52 yarder and a 37 yarder, obviously today wasn't his day.
That's just not how things work. There have been so many times where a guy misses a couple FG's in a game, which look easy, and then bangs in a game winner. Kicking isn't easy.

4th and 31? On their own 4 yard line... now that's impressive

But there's a huge difference between a 52 yarder and a 37 yarder in the first half, and a 65 yard with 4 second remaining to tie the game.

Why are you two even discussing this, does anyone actually think a Tony Romo hail marry is a better idea than kicking? Because it's a play that involves both Tony Romo and potentially winning, by law it has to fail.

Well obviously Fischer thought he had a better chance with the field goal than a hail mary, and that's why he's a head coach in the NFL and you're some guy posting about it on TL.

typical logic, I think it was an ego trip especially since he was on record stating he would be the head coach to break the 63 yard record.
edit: he also had 20+ seconds after the sack and waited until 4 second before calling the time out. So the 65 yarder wasn't necessary at all. since they could have gotten the first down and spiked the ball for an easier try.

Goddamn. Just when it looked like the Niners were rolling, Smith throws a pick. =\

NE's threatening to pull away from SEA. If the Hawks can't stop this drive, I foresee great doom

my face when

Damn Eli is such an elite player. The guy knows when to shine.
|
Giants got this, 49ers cant let go of their fail from last year.
|
Yeah it looks like so, Niners can't isolate Eli and stop him from throwing left and right like in practice. Shit, Victor Cruz is a beast.
|
Difference between Eli and Smith: Eli is elite
|
Cardinals with a fake punt :D Might get them another 3 points before haltime or even more. edit: Hm I was probably too enthusiastic.

Smith seems to give the 49ers what they need. Very rarely will he play like he did last week, but still he comes up with plays at the right time for his team. Just most of the time, they don't need him.
