Great idea on the server reset. Nobody can create their own factions and all of the pre-made ones will simply refuse to invite anyone or you have to cross your fingers one of maybe 5 players happens to be online at the same time as you.
Feel free to go out alone and randomly die to some unexpected shit and lose everything cause you can't protect your stuff or teleport back to whatever piece of shit plot you pretend to call a base.

Maybe reset again but this time only create 1 faction and make the leader someone that is afk all day. After that just reset without factions, ramp up the retardation surely but slowly.

Played a little on the server yesterday, but the server seems a little pointless for people that don't want to join factions immedatly since you gain power even from killing people without faction and -10 power... so they follow you out of the starting area and kill you the moment you step into the wilderness.
Somehow they even found my hidden underwater cave (probably due to laggy chunk updates or whatever) and had fun raiding it with iron armor and diamond swords against fists and no armor.
Fun idea but either you are in from day 1 and spend a lot of time playing or you won't ever be able to catch up.

people aren't supposed to be killing people near spawn. We went to spawn to hunt people down but only attacked people if they attacked us first or they were already established

Well the Loners have enough people already. Some factions (Templar, Auir, exc) have recruit requirements some of which are easy to reach, but the others should still be recruiting

Some factions are more exclusive than others, but there's plenty that will take you in. If they don't why don't you grab some friends and apply for a faction?
And to everyone else, the tower you spawn in is pvp protected. If someone is camping, not killing but actually camping you, then simply take a screenshot. It's not hard at all. I could care less if you get mugged and killed once or twice in the market, but griefing is another thing entirely.
Spawn is being fixed, yes we know it's bugging out, which is why/ f home currently is enabled.

Lol. my friend joins the server (first time since reset). Same second he goes out from the tower FortuneSyn is standign there killing him.
No way that isnt griefing? I thought we were only allowed to attack people in the town if provoked, like if someone had attacked you and ran into town after, etc.
Not just go and randomly kill everyone in town.
Seems like bullshit to me.

I think the minimum 5 people for a faction really sucks.. i really enjoyed having a solo faction in the few days i played on the server, built a secret fort underground and still went out in the day to find victims so i could take their loot back to my lair. Guess i wont play after the reset then

Reapers are still recruiting, but we are now much more selective in terms of people recruited.

People need to stop whining about PVP in the market, it really ruins the game whenever someone just complains non-stop if you kill them there just once. Killing you because you go to the market by yourself covered in iron armor thinking you're in a safe zone isn't griefing, it's you being careless. He clearly stated the rules and you just didn't listen if you think he said "no PVP in the city". Could we have a little less BM and a little more dignity people?
If you want those rules changed, that's a completely different subject, but don't accuse someone of breaking the rules as they stand when they clearly aren't.
Griefing = Constantly killing the same people in marketplace who are trying to get out, camping for unarmored/new players etc etc, very different from killing someone every now and then from a big faction because they think they're entitled to safety under the current rules they clearly misunderstand. People just love placing the blame elsewhere for their mistakes.

I am leader of OldBlood and we are recruiting a few more people. All I ask is that you use TeamSpeak. So if you have been wronged at spawn by some people and need shelter and later to take revenge send me a msg in-game or to someone else in OldBlood and we will see about invites.

I hate that... i'm happily digging around at bedrock level and suddenly another player drops on my head from an almost directly vertical tunnel straight from the surface and kills me.
How are they able to see me there?
I mean, if i would have been near the surface, ok, he saw the name. But at bedrock level? Is there no area where you are at least a little safe? Kills the fun for me, so i guess my "secret" lair is now no longer occupied.

Just letting you guys know, after I logged off last night, my computer stopped working. 5-7 business days is when my campus tech office says they will have a solution by. For now, I'm gonna see if I can borrow my roomate's old laptop. If it works well enough, I'll get on and keep working. Also, Protentis, PM me about whatever it was you were doing last night pulling people out of chat. I'm not sure when I can be back on TS.

Someday, I too dream of conquering a faction with 40% less members than mine, with a third of them AFK.

At least you keep promises about not killing us on the land after the truce is settled.. oh wait you killed "brouhahaha" the second he logs in when he does no damage to you whatsoever because we're neutral now on your land. Oh well, keeping promises isn't that important I suppose, loot is what's really important. Not to mention killing Glull when he did nothing wrong. All is fair in love and war.
The market place battles pre-conquering were good fights though. I'll give you that.
