Nevermind i dont even care. well if you read op again, everything done even during the construction phase was being logged, so irninja would be able to find it. I think he has a mod to track down diamonds and infos like when and the amount of diamond was placed onto the world. If your goal is diamonds, it does not take long to dig down looking for them.
Yup. He said he banned 2-3 people already trying to cheat the system. One of them being someone during the construction phase who hid a chest near spawn in order to loot it at launch.
The diamond blocks that you can spot on the map are shrine challenges. They are puzzles/challenges designed to test your skill in the game. If you can complete them before anyone else you can claim the prize at the end. Some of them are easy and were solved relatively fast, some of them are extremely difficult.
If you should find and try my challenge then I wish you luck. Its more fair than "I wanna be the guy" but it will feel as difficult in some parts.

true because we're using an earlier version of the map but even if you find it, there's the challenge to complete it. Most of them are hard, tricky and deadly >=D. And yes, you need to think for some of them.

What happens if you run out of food on the server? Do you die or does it halve your HP? I seem to be hearing both sides.
I am aiming to settle a spot that probably doesn't have easy acces to farming right away but i don't like the idea of slowly dying or ending up dead just trying to get there without food on me.

If you run out of food it takes you down to 50% hp. I know because I was running around with no food for the majority of the time I was playing.

Zalz : You can only go down to a minimum of half hp through starvation.
Freakeh : The server is currently going through a change of provider from a less stable one to a much better one, once the transfer is complete i expect the server will be up constantly.

Ah, that sounds good! I don't quite like the idea of shrines or people just getting items because they get there quicker....it should be that each faction or player really works for their items. Then the factions who tech up to full iron or whatever becomes most dominant!

the chest gets refilled once in a while and they're usually hard to get to. Even with god mode on during the construction phase, we "died" many times trying to solve most of them lol. Once you know the path, it still takes skill to complete some of them.

Mods are server sided, you only need the base game.

Sounds interesting. I might just buy minecraft for this. I've been on the fence since I didn't really have anyone else to play MC with, and I got tired of being forever alone in my cracked version :/
