Well was I supposed to be like, look I'm going to shit on you and not care about it? How do you think I should have went about it? I mean is it my fault is valve basically forces higher ranks to smurf if they want to play with friends, and is trying to make it easier on your opponents during placements a bad thing? Because playing deagle only without tryharding (like rushing mid and exposing yourself willingly) isn't actually that easy and leaves them a good chance of killing you, so it should be a cool game for them too, no?

don't panic if you're missing shots, stop shooting for the recoil to reset and try again
Nades - there's a lot you can learn off youtube videos and vods, hltv.org in particular has demos you can download and watch
always learn how to use the smoke first, and remember that if you're running through a smoke, they can see you faster than you can see them

Play your best and win in 16 rounds so you stop ruining silver games if you insist on smurfing. Intentionally playing bad doesn't make the game any more fun.

I know this is likely to be laughed at, but I just want to put something out there about the MM cooldown.
I just recently got CS:GO (about 2 weeks ago), after having my interest piqued by the fnatic boost scandal and VACcusations (as odd as that may seem, cs:go hit the front page and I was immediately intersted after watching ESEA ). I used to play CS:S around 10 years ago, so I'm familiar with the absolute basics.
But I'm finding it really frustrating and difficult to actually PLAY CS:GO because of the 2 games per day limit. Community servers are nice, but as we all know, getting into a "serious" 5v5 scrim pug on a community server is fucking impossible. Casual 10v10 is basically about as serious as a deathmatch, too. So I'm stuck playing my 2 games per day and then dicking around in aim maps practicing.
To irritate me even more, the fundementals I've brought with me from css make the MM games I do play total walkovers, just a total steamrollerfest. I thought the cooldown was to "calibrate" my MMR? Well it doesn't, because I keep getting placed with the silver players and it's not fun just derping around every game because the whole opposing team decides to rush through smoke and die in the first 25 seconds of the match.
So this is my rant. Valve, this game is fucking great, and I love the skins & the in-game client and the market and everything else! But for the love of fucking god, why can't I play more than 2 games per day?

just had a kid VAC banned on the enemy team mid game
thought hitting 1 dink through dust 2 doors every round and 2-3 kills from this was a bit fishy
especially because we started jumping in different spots or not at all etc
do you still gain mmr if you beat a team with a hacker? i know you dont if the VACed player is on your team but what about the other way round?

Thanks guys for the advice. Yeah I know the crosshairs is not a true indicator of where my shots are going. I am not really talking abt spray, because I can read the tracer shots and adjust accordingly.
I should have phrased my question better...with the AK we have to burst/tap fire because of how harsh the recoil/bloom is with that gun.
Because of we have to tap fire/burst fire, I find my ttk is way lower with the AK compared to weapons where it's okay to burst(M4,SG553) because of the number of rounds going down range.
So how do I win gunfights at med range? Tap fire will lose to burst fire 70%(figure pulled out of my ass, but you get what I mean) of the time.
If there's no other way except trying to go for headshots with the first 2 AK shot, that's a harsh way to fight. Considering the other guns like Sg553/aug can do a 1hit headshot kill at any range too. Only M4 can't, but it's burst of 4-5 accurate bullets insta-gib people anyway.

Most pros spray all the time because the first 10-15 bullets are easy to control and its basically muscle memory when you play so much.
