So I don't think this new article is even accurate because no one actually knows how it works True, it seems based on the post there was on reddit (basically explaining that each player has his ELO, and killing a player awards different points based on your ELO difference with him), and that winning rounds is really important. The article is written affirmatively, though that doesn't mean anything as I'm not sure of the quality of Millenium's writing staff. Edit : haha weow a reddit mod is having a fight with the guy that wrote the article because he just translated a guide written on steam, millenium writing staff confirmed still sucking balls

I am a longtime BF player, with experience in various other shooters anything from TF2, Ghost Recon Phantom & even PVZ:Garden warfare.(except CoD), so i am not new to FPS. I just want to ask 2 things. How the hell do you use a AK and how to use nades properly? AK if i can land the first 2 shot, its fine. If i miss the first 2 shot, it's pretty much GG. It's so bad in my hands that in DM, i get a lot of deaths with me landing my first 2 shot for like 59damage. Nowadays, i end up preferring the SG553 when im on the terrorist side.my friends suggest that i do 2bullets per tap on a AK, but that TTK(time to kill) is so long, compared to CT M4A1/M4A4 at the same range. Unless i manage to get a headshot of course, but i obviously dont have a aimhack ![]() At least i have the SG553, though it's 300dollars more Nades, anyone got suggestion for guides/videos per map? thanks in advance.

Nades are very easy to use (especially with the "new" right click option). Just try to learn their behavior while playing solo on a map. There are also tons of Youtube videos for throwing special nades.

Each gun has a specific recoil pattern that you can memorize. There are a bunch of Youtube videos about it, many of which have been posted in this thread fairly recently. Basically, as you shoot, you have to move your crosshair away from where you're hoping to hit to compensate for the recoil. If you just look at a wall and shoot, you can see pretty clearly what the pattern is. Usually the first 10 bullets are all you need to worry about. If you're tapping, be aware that the recoil may not completely reset between your shots. So you might still have to move your crosshair down a bit, especially with the AK.

Look at videos of how people spray with the AK47. When you spray in CS, the crosshair is not necessarily an indication of where your bullets go. You'll see good players spraying at a distance and after a few bullets the corsshair is literally below the feet of the other player (depending on the weapon). That said, at a long distance you can't spray as much as you can in BF, and you need to shoot short bursts, or even single bullets.

If you are going to take the role of IGL, you first must realize that the best way to get people to play well is to let them go where they want to and work around that. Generally speaking, people will call out during pistol round where they want to go. Let them do it and call the last general spot where no one is going. So for inferno, there's always 2 dudes that want B site and always that dude who wants to go ham in apartment. Let them have it even though those are your best spots as your focus is not details of your personal play, but rather how the team plays. 2ndly, pay great attention to mini map and to what the players are calling out. This is for all roles, but for IGLs, your decision making is based off this so always encourage players to be actively talkiing. 3rd. when making calls, be short and concise. For example, Ts smokes off mid at inferno and arch where you are. banana looks clear. Call "1 B rotate arch, I'm going to library/site". Don't call "Can i get 1 b dude to come over to help me out?". Good leaders are affirmative and consie in their calls/actions. 4th, learn what the enemy team can and will do and what their actions leads to. So for example, same scenario t's smoke mid and arch. banana was clear. It's 2 things. First its a porch side take of a or B) fake to B. So our case and judgement, we read that and start making calls to counter-act it. However, don't be way too specific and for the love of god, don't micromanage people. everyone fucking hates that. When you are making calls, be supportive, don't be rash. Remember, this is as much as a mental game as it is a physical game. IGL for matchmaking isn't bad nor that hard to do, but note that being a good IGL requires you to be good at the strategic part of csgo and good at reading opponents. Actually now that i think about it, watch Dazed's and steel's streamed matches; Note how they are leading their teams and how they make their calls based on how they read the enemies. They're good IGLs for a reason so it helps to learn from the best Thanks for the great insights! ![]() Those are all good points i should work on and improve. Keeping players talk-active and motivated will be the highest obstacle to overcome, for me at least. It`s a very bad habbit on my part too, to stop talking, if the moral goes down. Rotations are also a worry. The thing is; I would much rather prefere another role, but noone wants to play it either. I will browse Dazed`s vod archives later this week. Above all i need to stick a post-it with a checklist on my monitor to rember all the things... ... this ends up in work D:

Turns out the silver guys immediatly started blocking me and preventing me from playing cause I told them I was LEM on my main but would play pistols only and try not to destroy them, they just TK'd me as much as possible, flashed me 24/7, blocked me all the time. Little whiny bitches complained about smurfs with no valid arguments, sounding fucking stupid as fuck and made me want to kill someone. How can people like that get out of silver, if they willingly stay fucking bad and lose games instead of trying to learn when they have a nice occasion to do so, or just tell me nicely to let them play or whatever. Why do people have to be fuckign retards with their fucking dumb opinion about everything and never think by themselves or consider your arguments. Damn I'm mad, and not because I lost 20mn getting TKd and blocked, but because these people are too dumb to deserve oxygen People play games to have fun and it isn't fun to have someone ten ranks above you even if it is on your team.

I understand and that's why I talked to them, so that they could ask me to do whatever so that they could enjoy their game; my point was that these fuckers wouldn't fucking say anything else than "HUEHUE SMURFS BAD HURRRRR" and do their stupid shit. How fucking dumb do you need to be to be that narrow minded and stubborn, god damnit. They could have told me to afk at spawn or play usp only, I wouldn't have given a damn. But instead they just went full dumb fuck and refused to communicate or do anything constructive, when I was willing to be cool with whatever. So yeah, fuck those people, they are the kind of person I despise the most. Edit : oh, sorry, I forgot their second main argument : "get buddies that can play at your level". Kk bro, I'm going to put a giant sign in the middle of my university so that I can have IRL DMG + friends.
