I don't play any CS at all, but my reasoning is simply that it is after all part of the map and it should be advantageous for the team that can utilise the map best. Yes it is op and broken as hell apparently, but I think the responsibility for balancing the game should not be from rules but from the mapmakers themselves. Same goes with any other games. You don't limit the number of hexes/necrobooks a dota team can have. You don't ban terrans from using siege tanks to abuse a cliff spot. You balance the game by nerfing those dota items etc or adjusting that cliff spot. The issue is that the spots where you can pixel walk are really hard to find for a mapmaker, so they generally pop up over time when people use the map. So it's basically a bug exploit, as in "feature not intended to be used". Pretty sure that if a guy won a game on sc2 because he could drop a tank on an unreachable ledge that wasn't supposed to exist over the main mineral line of his opponents, the game would be canceled/replayed.

While for some the accusations and drama killed their excitement, the quality of games more than made up for it. You put this really well. I agree completely. I was honestly worried that if the finals was a one-sided final that the tournament would just be remembered as the hacking/boost major, but the finals were an amazing finish to the tournament. Im sure you gave that example intentionally, but that was actually a bug in SC2, for a very brief couple of days that was quickly patched, I can find some VODs on youtube. I can't remember if blizzard was banning people for doing it on ladder or not.

![]() I don't understand why they didn't just pause the game to check that it was legal, and then replay the rounds when they saw one of the players was floating in the air. But as Kuroeeah said, the games yesterday more than made up for that bs!

Oh well, until one of the "higher ups" here starts caring about CSGO nothing is going to happen I guess. (Picking up a Smash team and stuff instead of getting into CSGO could send me into a rage fit personally but oh well, I don't get to make the decisions :p)

Just see league of legends, way more money/viewers, TL not interested.

How much damage does a grenade do? Max-body/head/radius decrease? Do you hear only your teams grenade announcements or the enemies team's as well?

I'm not sure about the exact damage values (kniferound.net doesn't mention them either: http://kniferound.net/wiki/HE). The damage does fall off with distance and if there's anything between you and the nade when it goes off, it will negate the damage as well. Kevlar helps greatly against nade damage. You only hear nade announcements from your own team! ![]()

Should I hold on to it, sell it right away, or should I open it? :D Well, compare how much the case sells for with what could be in it and how much that's worth, then make a decision. Lucky bastard, too. ![]()
