Just ask whether the admins would be open to it, and list some of the arguments for getting one. Things like * how many TL members are active in the csgo subcommunity * what things the TL CSGO community do together * how many pages this thread grows during events (is there enough interest to warrant separate tourney threads) * are there any very highly ranked players who are active here * what kind of things would be possible that currently aren't would all probably help show you were actually serious and had some numbers to back it up, and might make them actually consider the idea rather then just glancing it over. If you look at LoL as an example of a non covered game that has a subforum, there are several mods who play (including neo, who's been in the LoL scene for YEARS and sometimes writes for riot,) many very high elo players actively posting, 30+ people who post near daily, off topic thread there is the most active thread on tl iirc, very large threads for every bit match including weekly lcs and guides all over the place. You'd just have to convince them that CSGO could be that or better, and that they'd be able to get a few admins (or at least hammers) to spend time moderating it. Also highlighting what open space there is in the csgo community that TL could fill with a forum, (maybe pointing out the failings of other forums) and what kind of content could come from TL that isn't coming from anywhere else. | ||
