I had a 38 - 10 game today with ace and everything. They were raging so hard at me.

Why is it so hard to be consistent in this game?

When I bet high on 70%, it's always a loss. I just can NOT seem to find the right formula. I wouldn't bet on any favored team if they're favored by 70% or more. And I wouldn't bet on underdogs unless you think that the odds for them are too low (like the odds say 25% but you think more like 35%).

I spend a lot of time learning (and forgetting) smokes/flashes because the people I play with simply don't, and it makes taking and defending sites a lot harder if you don't know how to smoke/flash. don't need nades with wreak #1 ![]()

If anyone here wants to queue up together, send me PM! I'm only Silver Elite now but I think it would be way more fun playing with people who have the same improvement-oriented mindset and are willing to work together.

I find that people like to pick the underdogs for the potential big win so those odds should be much higher, say 90-95.

T side, a lack of communication I find is more difficult, but as long as they are actively trying to win and poke a bit and retreat, it can cause a lot of confusion to the CT. Bascially, unless everyone else on the team wants to rush to a particular site, the best thing to do is to do what you feel is best and never, never, never talk shit on the mic.

Dunno man, it just doesn't seem like the odds say ANYTHING at all, I lose 80%, and I also lose on underdogs getting 29-31 rounds etc etc. I feel so cheated I've lost around 15 dollars on those 19 bets so it's not really that bad money wise but that's basically my whole inventory. Learned the hard way that I shouldn't be betting on skins I use ^^ VP teaches me well.

Being able to approach a game from a competitive standpoint, even as a noob, is really exciting because I feel like I know exactly what kinds of questions I need to be asking in order to improve (coming as a master SC2 player). However the matchmaking is really hit-or-miss, especially since I keep getting matched with Russians that either cannot or will not speak in English when the team needs to plan something. Therefore all of the T rounds seem pretty fucked on most maps, since it's hard enough to take a site when people are randomly flashing me or running the bomb in the wrong direction (maybe that's just silver league though). Feel free to ask any csgo questions (don't ask me about betting). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Hl6gZ_gmpAh7EACtRGfxLZ0k03a76IoICbdwfT25elw/edit#gid=0 On October 04 2014 07:25 RuiBarbO wrote: Four weeks ago I was silver elite master. Consistency comes with time and with having the right mental attitude. CS is a extremely tough game to keep focus in for a straight 30 rounds and if you don't warm up nor have your mental state ready to play, you'll fuck up

Probably true that I overplay at times, but I think part of it is that aiming in DM games is not quite the same as MM. I think I also get fixated on certain things that work and then over time forget about other important things, like keeping crosshair at headshot level. That said, I've been having more success recently by working on my prefiring. Prefiring long A, taking shots through smoke, playing a kind of Battleships-esque guessing game about where the other players are hiding and when they're going to peek. Much easier to beat another player on the draw if you don't always wait to have vision of them.
