Annoying as the other guys seemed cool. ESEA MM is pretty terrible compared to pugs, I don't know why, people are way more annoying and usually worse players too, at least in my 5-6 recent matches.. On a side note, got my XL2411Z and 144hz with blur reduction is amazing. It's pretty hard to get used to at the moment as the game has a totally different feel going from 22" blurry and stuttery to super smooth on 24" (seems like the screen being bigger kind of screwed my muscle memory), but it feels amazing and it's such a pleasure to play on!
Good to hear! I'll be receiving mine within the next week

More than 144hz is ok too?!

Lately, I've been practicing the aimmap with Fribergs settings. When I started a month ago~~ I was pretty bad, 20-30 average and as I kept practicing, it's now on 40-50 range (with strafing).
But I have been here for a week orso and it doesn't seem to get better. Any tips?
I have played around with sensitivity as much as I can, but my PC setup doesn't allow a too low sen. Played around with crosshair and I think it did help in game. I also train my aim with killing bots walking around etc etc.

I'm having trouble adjusting from a Samsung 23' S23A750D to the XL2720Z >< This thing is fucking huge !!! It changes muscle memory a lot, my aim has been strange for a few weeks... But it feels goooood :>
(btw I'm selling the Samsung, it does 3D+goggles for AMD and has a blur reduction.)

I started practicing that, i was hitting ~30's to start off with but after a day i was up in the 40s, after 2 days in the 50's and i just got more consistent over the time i practiced it (2 weeks) and hitting the occasional 60+ (Hit 73 once! :D ) getting better gets alot harder the more you hit.
Its honestly all about repetition, ive stopped playing CS so much now but when i was playing alot i literally wouldnt step foot into an MM game until i was comfortable with how i was doing in the aim-map. Not hitting 50's? Not playing. Hitting 50's but feeling im not doing well enough / missing EZ shots? Not playing, and i would sit and practice until either i felt comfortable with my shooting or i gave up (after 20-30 mins constant practice) and stopped playing.
As a rule of thumb i did 3 rounds with AK+M4 and 1 round Famas/Galil even if i hit a 60+ first try or was consistent right away too.
I never strafed though, i did a couple times and it felt like it made things easier for me and i wanted to focus 100% on my aim, not movement. Perhaps try not strafing?
I think its honestly down to getting your settings the way you want them (the lower sens the better but if you aren't comfortable don't force it because of popular opinion, i use 800/2.5.) and just constantly practicing.
Deathmatch / aim-maps are good things to do along with this map too since it will help overall, some people do KZ/surf for movement.

Why not, even though I don't know of any "gaming" monitor that goes higher. I'd suggest looking at monitors that have a blur reduction feature though (http://www.blurbusters.com/faq/120hz-monitors/), it really is a great feature for FPS play (and everything else too, DotA looked so smooth :D) For the person asking how to get better at the aim training thing, try playing it for warmup until you hit your average and then a bit more, and then play the actual game, and come back to the aim training the day after. I found that force training on the map isn't very useful as it gets boring pretty fast, it's good to get muscle memory back in but after a while you're better of enjoying a deathmatch or MM game. You'll still improve eventually!

NiP going to disband soon. So sad. They're playing like total noobs.

Yeah it's expensive, but once you reach a certain level (I'd say DMG/eagle), it becomes a really great hardware upgrade. It's a great increase in viewing comfort (clearer/more fluid picture = less strain on the eyes), easier to see enemies, WAY easier to see enemies when checking corners/moving fast, way easier to track moving targets... I hit shots today that I probably wouldn't have hit on my crappy 60hz. Loving it!

Nice, so i don't need to bother myself if i should buy one or not. I don't have to! ;D

Something just happened in a game that I've never seen happen before ever. CT-side Dust 2 crossing mid double doors. There's a guy autosniper spamming, I jump-cross without smoke cover, the auto guy doesn't hit me but BAM instant AK headshot... I've never even seen that happen lol.

The description on LEM and up should be "Probably Hacks"
E: yes yes I know there are lots of people here in eagle+ who don't hack, and I know lots of people in person who are eagle+ who don't hack as well.

Hmm btw, did it happen to anyone else? Since the patch yesterday, the game has decided to remove all the maps I downloaded from the workshop.

[ OPERATION BREAKOUT ] – Operation Breakout ended and all missions are now expired.
[ MATCHMAKING ] – Players on the same LAN as a community game server can now connect to it directly using LAN-internal IP addresses. – Fixed client connectivity issues to community GOTV relay chains. – Community servers will now reload the map and game rules when the first player joins after server hibernation. – Fixed incorrect networking of some values including StatTrak counters from Linux dedicated servers. – Friends who are trying to join a game invite to an official non-competitive game that is full will receive the corresponding message in main menu. – Fixed CS:GO match sharing links to work even if the game is already running when they are clicked. – Friends playing on competitive community servers will now correctly show community status on the in-game friends list. – Fixed rich presence and join status for friends who are watching Overwatch evidence or demo replays. – Restored functionality of several menu items in the pause menu.
[ UI ] – The “COUNTRY” section in the Buy Menu now shows flag images. – Renamed MOVEMENT to MOBILITY in the Buy Menu. – Added the raw movement value to the MOBILITY section in the Buy Menu.
[ GAMEPLAY ] – Tagging (movement slowdown when hit) has changed. — Tagging is now slightly cumulative. Damaging someone in quick succession will apply slightly more tagging and slow them down more (to a point). — Your currently held weapon now determines how much you are tagged when getting hit. How much you are tagged depends on the weapon’s “Mobility” value. The higher the Mobility value, the less you will get tagged when hit. — Unified tagging values when shooting people in different parts of the body. — Players now get tagged slightly (based on the weapon they’re holding) when they take HE blast damage. — All weapons have updated tagging values. – All SMGs now have ~20% more armor penetration. – Some movement affecting server values have changed (sv_stopspeed increased to 80, sv_accelerate decreased to 5.5, sv_friction increased to 5.2). – Fixed players getting stopped by teammate’s “in flight” grenades. – Players who are hit by grenades “in flight” that were thrown by the other team now take a small amount of impact damage. – Slightly increased size and contrast of most impact decals to increase impact readability. – Impact and blood particle effects have changed slightly to improve impact readability.
[ SDK ] – Custom maps can now spawn HE grenade projectiles using class hegrenade_projectile. – Hammer bug fixes and improvements — Fixed a bug where the Model Browser would become unresponsive — Removed shortcut key for Radius Culling — Extended functionality of Instancing – Collapse. Now allows to collapse recursively or not. — Hammer now saves status of Instancing – View Instances — Face Edit Sheet: — Added buttons to randomize X and Y texture shift — Texture scale now supports 3 decimals — Texture shift now rolls over from 1024 to -1024 — Buttons to increase/decrease Texture Scale now increments with .005 – demoinfogo has been updated. It now parses and dumps out string tables, data/send tables, and PacketEntities. http://blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/category/updates/

So does this mean that you come to a full stop faster and take longer to reach full movement speed?
Edit: Also Bizon now OP?
