I don't understand their logic in making it so much quieter and less bassy... Supposed to be my 1 hit wonder not my airsoft rifle ><

Right now, it feels like a bad BF3-Counter-Strike hybrid with the ADS blur and movement. soo source ?

Does the crosshair show recoil in this one? IMO one of the biggest things that needed changing, it was fine once you got decent at the game, but it really threw off the newer players.

Yeah when I played it on the first day, the way I described GO was that it is more source, than source was. Relative to 1.6. We'll see how it turns out, but I just feel way happier when playing Dota 2 beta than I do GO beta, the polish of the games at their early beta stages are pretty far opposites on the spectrum.

Yes, crosshair shows recoil just like in 1.6, I think there was an option in the menu that makes it so the crosshair stays stable but I never tested it out. Also for the Awp, recoil is based on vision, so if you're zoomed in and move, your vision becomes blurry for a brief moment, and once its clear you know that it aims true. Really odd mechanic but its not something I'll complain about one way or another.

Compared to 1.6, kills in source didn't really feel like you were doing anything more than poking the other person with bullets. You just kind of aimed at them and then they fell down. Fucking ragdolls ![]()

Like the retardedly loud bassy awp shot that instilled fear in you every time you heard it. That there was a gun that kills in one shot. Or the fact that when you got a headshot the body would fling backwards into the air as blood sprayed out in a ridiculous fashion. Fucking ragdolls ![]() I agree, shoot a colt in 1.6 then switch to source and shoot one. The difference is night and day, colt feels awesome in 1.6 and a pea shooter in source.

I haven't played CS sind version 1.3 in 2002, and I am an extreme elitist CS hipster. How disappointed will I be? :-D
