Only through Keys AFAIK. I got mine at IEM/Comicon and when you load it into Steam - CS:GO comes up as a game in your library but locked from downloading.

I bet it will be a blast. That being said, the game looks horrible. That is not the way a game should look in this day and age of PC technology. Those animations and models are a total turn off. I know graphics don't make the game, but holy shit, at least TRY.

go to eseanews.net, on the left side there is a list of live pro streams.

Edit: note that he's playing on LOW graphics settings due to computer/streaming limitations. (for most of these players this is their first time streaming ;p)

I wasn't impressed with what I saw before this beta and this is just confirming my suspicions. I don't think Valve has any idea why source failed against 1.6 because I see so many of the same problems in CSGO.

I know people are excited about this, and it is supposed to be good... but what makes it different from source?

fyi: I haven't played CS competitively since Beta 6.1, I fooled around a bit when it was retail released and source after hl2 hit but could never appreciate it fully.

One of my acquaintances in the beta says that there's no point in spraying unless you're at close range and that the bullet tracers don't actually represent where the bullet hits after the 4th/5th round of a spray. :|

As an observer, this dust and smoke everyone (not from smoke nades) is absolutely terrible. :| It just has zero positive benefit, and I'm sure most of the players dislike it too.

Also, you can't boost.

EDIT: Oh, maybe you can boost in Competitive mode? They couldn't in the pub earlier.
