Just had a game where my team was 1 DMG, 4 MGE, other team was 3 silver elite, a nova 1 and an MG1.. Wtf? They got absolutely bulldozed too, were calling hacks etc so I'm not convinced it was derankers.. Anyone have this happen to them?

holy fuck I never realized how useful aim map was... after playing it for 30 minutes I had seen the most improvement I ever made in awhile. 2.6% headshot and 0.4% accuracy increased after a single competitive match. I remembered I was staggering around the same percent of below <20% for a long time.

I've seen screenshots of Supreme~ v AKs~. Just matchmaking failure, doesn't happen often tho somehow.

Lol ive never put so much emphasis on my stats, i thought accuracy was a pretty redundant stat since you usually end up spraying smokes / walls / boxes half the time (also the roflol spraying at round start/end)

But yes, aim maps, deathmatch and all the rest are very useful for warming up / practice. I use the targets map, bots map & then a mixture of standard dust2 DM, AWP_Lego and Aim_Redline (this ones useful for prefiring & head tapping)

Shame i havent actually touched the game since the R8 update, killed my passion to play completely, even with the R8 "fix" its still batshit, then you've got the RNG rifle nerfs, pistol nerfs & fucked with competitive timers.

The competitive timers improve MM but it affects majors too, so im assuming the scene is expected to switch to using 1:55/40, so things like Faceit/ESEA/Cevo will switch to it too. Which is bullshit.

Fucking valve man Just typing this out killed my urge to play even more

Yea i agree its a clusterfuck of shit. The r8 did not annoy me at all, since it was gonna be fixed anyways. The timers and RNG nerfs are such fuckery that the people who made it happen should be fired.

Bomb timer=5sec up. I dont see why its such a big deal.
If terrorists plant the bomb and get good plant positions, will still be really hard for ct to get it.
Usually ct saves. Not very fun is it?

What? Inferno, Mirage, Nuke (not really played currently) and Train are heavily CT-favoured. Cache and Overpass are moderately CT-favoured. Dust 2 is moderately T-favoured and Cobble is about even and also heavily depends on the team because still not entirely figured out.

I excluded Season because it only has one matched played on in 2015 and is of no statistical significance because of that.

Didn't they also increase round duration though? So Ts get to work the map for longer before they have to commit to a push?

Changes very little as you will just sit and watch for pushes longer on both sides.
