Best way to find out if you can get a better SMG from her is if the slot machines in the bar got more expensive. If they did you can get a better weapon from Moxxi ( same gun just high level and better stats ) . Slot machines are crap for items . The only way to get really good ones is 3 Borderlands symbols ( or maybe 3 legs and get really really lucky ) but i've never gotten 3 symbols and i've blown alot of cash into those things. | ||

Rabid stalkers are the ones that jump at melee range and constantly knock you back with virtually no crit zone. They also seem to have a lot more health. I take the shields out in 1 or 2 shots, then the actual health took about 15-20 more direct shotgun hits doing 15k. | ||

There is a fix, but it involves replacing your profile temporarily and then putting the old one back once you have grabbed the loot, it also gives you 254 golden keys. I only used 20 so don't get mad at me :p Also the golden chest really gives you shit stuff you don't want sometimes, but some of the elemental snipers in there were pretty good, as well as the e-tech guns. http://www.reddit.com/r/Borderlands/comments/109lpe/unlimited_golden_keys_is_back_heres_how_to_get/ | ||

Uhh.. about lvl 18-20 mission if that helps. Starts from Sanctuary i think. With that Hammerlock guy. | ||

The only thing I can't stand, is the same thing I couldn't stand in the first game. And that is deciding what gun/shield to use. I mean I picked up this orange sniper rifle with the red text "Man killer". It does 200 damage, and houses a 22 magazine size. It's worth 3,000 bucks, double what my next highest weapon I've found thus far. The level requirement is 19. Then recently some random bandit drops this white sniper rifle. Level requirement 12. Sell value 900 bucks. 6 magazine. It does 700 damage, and has 150% crit damage. I'm torn between these two guns. I mean, with the color, value, red text, and level requirement, the game is basically telling me that the first sniper is better. Yet I can't see how 200 is better than 700. Unless the red text is inferring random one hit kills on humans. I think what I'm going to do is just sell all of my weapons and buy stock from the machine. That way when I pick up a gun, I know for sure which one is better. | ||

If it's like the first one, which I'm pretty sure it is, then every boss has a chance to drop a specific orange(or at least red text) weapon and most of them respawn. I actually found Sledge's Shotgun from the first game + Show Spoiler + from Smash Head in The Fridge | ||

Not sure if i continue playing for now. I've basically done everything in the game and farming Bosses for items meh . Still kickass game hope they release great story DLC's . | ||

On September 26 2012 09:24 TheRabidDeer wrote: sounds like slap happy, where you put his arm up for bait yes, that's the mission. don't think that you can repeat it... was the hardest boss i have faced so far, although it was an optional one which was a like 2 levels below me. either way, at one point of the story at around lvl 22-23 you get so so many optional missions which are below your level... i got like 8 optional missions for lvl 18-20 with lvl 23 -_-; i have done some of them already but they give like no experience. oh well, will do them for fun anyway in the first playthrough. | ||

Part of me wishes it was a bit more grindy in this respect, so I would be required to do more of the optional stuff to keep up to the story levels. The game is fucking awesome and I really enjoy most of the missions, the characters and lines that they spout are really good quality and as a result I feel like I'm missing out on lots of super cool shit elsewhere in the world. | ||
