I'm not sure but it might have been my fastest run, I was in Cruel at 2h and Merciless at 4h 40min. Throzz did it in like 1h 30min and 4h. In Merciless I had some problems with my resistances because of which I needed to run Ledge, which sucked. Merciless in general didn't run so well, I think that's mainly because I tried dual wield wand (with the cast speed nodes) for my first time, which I don't think is a that good idea starting Merciless. Shields just give so much resistances which helps gearing a lot. My dmg ended up pretty high though, my Arc had above 6k dps which was very sufficient. I'll quit it at lvl 70 and maybe try the lvl 70 in HC later or tomorrow, but I'll approach that more slowly for sure and definitely won't play it all in one go lol. | ||

Does anyone else think this is horrible design by GGG? That shit is so overpowered that 100% of people who can do it, will do it. In fact, that is the most overpowered defensive option they have ever had in the game in relation to required investment. Honestly, my build is going to be a sion that focuses on the left side but I will literally change my build by 10 points or w/e just to ensure I can get it because it will be so strong. Basically, inb4 9 out of 10 hardcore builds do it. | ||

But that 10% dodge is nothing and you would only get it for the 30% spell dodge. What was your plan with your scion? like what build and other defense option to pair with phase acro? because 10 points is still a decent commitment. | ||

Running various 2h builds as a Marauder; static strike, leap slam, cyclone I like cyclone the best and was running that when I died Cyclone links: fortify, melee phys, added fire, endurance charge on stun (swap this out for weapon ele for huge dps sometimes) as you can see there is no blood magic so it's mana based, I manage that with a jewel that gives me 5% reduced mana cost to all skills and the hybrid life/reduced mana cost on skills wheel above marauder Auras: Hatred/HOA also run blood rage with ~0% chaos res CWDT setup: enfeeble / blood rage (probably best to level this and self cast), not sure what else to put into CWDT atm Vaal Grace / Vaal haste were also obtained and in use after 4-5 attempts on each gem (I think bluq sold me the winning grace gem) Tooltip DPS: 28k w/ weapon ele, 20k with endurance charge on stun (this is with all auras and 3 frenzy charges) Static Strike 45k (!) RF with cyclone+comk ice nova basically every passive was defense oriented, so some armor + very high life + required regen. there would be shield for some block and a focus on very defensive items, but seeing as how it's behind projectile nodes as smuft shows.. maybe not as overpowered anymore(though I still think a shitload of builds are going to be getting it). smuft how did you die? edit: nm i see | ||
