I think the devs are aware of this and will scale their damage buffs back / fix whatever the problem is.

Based on what I'm seeing, it seems like the buff stacks or something, so basically if it gives 10% dmg, it stacks a few times and all of a sudden they're doing 100% increased damage | ||

That said, I was one of the first people playing in the closed beta of the original game, and was an alpha tester for quite a while after that too (for patches and new content), so I suppose that's why I was selected for closed beta testing of this new stuff? Or maybe it was just chance? Also, how much longer will it even be in effect for? should I even bother testing at this point? | ||

They said the Beta gonna be live for about two month, so we still have 6-7 weeks of Beta. If you want to play Hardcore hit me up (@bluquh or @Marauder). Edit: After trying VERY hard to rip myself I finally succeeded. I thought I would rip on one of those LMP/GMP, phys reflect, xtra damage maps I played. But what got me in the end was Beyonder + Xtra Fire + Shocking ground. Standing in shocking ground while having an Extra Damage Tornadoshot Beyonder infront of me wasn't too good of an idea. BUT my conclusion from playing only rip-maps today is that Fortify is currently definatly OP. I had no problems at all on reflect maps and even double reflect was pretty non-scary. All in all I had loads of fun playing my pseudo-dualwield groundslammer. The damage buff to melee's is amazing. While running rallying cry, fire golem and bloodrage my crappy character had the same groundslam dps as my my 1month Mara (bringer, megi, 310pdps 1H). Fortify + Endurance Charge on Melee Stun on Leapslam did the trick for me to circumvent using two warcrys. I leveled mostly doing a run in the new zones (moblv 69). Only rarly playing some maps out of fun. I found one (or two) 70 map and plenty of 68&69 while running that area. | ||

having a bit of problems knowing what drops to keep or not, the only thing I understand is that high amounts of linked sockets and elemental resist rolls are good, can anyone give some more advice on other stats and what stats I need to be looking at for weaponry? oh and ofc the 3 colour linked socket/quality items for vendor, but I've heard of more recipes but I don't understand which recipes are worth the time to pick up either =/ | ||

As a generalization I'm gonna post most commonly wanted combinations on gear slots: On Armor pieces: Increased Armor/Evasion Maximum Life 3x Resistances On Melee/Bow Weapons: % Increased Physical Damage x-y Inceased Physical Damage xx% increased Attack Speed xx% increased critical strike chance Caster Weapons: xx% spell damage x% Cast speed xx% increased critical strike chance for spells Jewelery: Maximum Life 2-3x Resistances Some Damage support stat(x-y physical damage, xx% increased Cast Speed etc.) Utitlity stats(2% Physical Damage Leeched as Life, +xx Accuracy) Of course there is alot more to itemization than this short list. There are a lot more stat combination that can be worth a lot. For starters the only really important vendor recipie is the chaos-recipie: Trade a full set of ritemlv 60+ rare Items to the vendor. Meaning; a Helmet, a Bodypiece, a belt, gloves, boots, two rings, an amulet and either two 1H or one 2H weapon. | ||
