I'm not that knowledgeable on the current damage output of certain encounters but am wondering if a 25% reduction in damage is enough to survive some of the current 1-shot risks? Also how would armor interact? I know that vs extremely high damage hits armor is less effective, but does armor reduction happen first before any other reductions or with this buff would the damage be reduced by 25% first and then armor reduction be counted in? Again, without knowing much of the specific math my immediate thoughts are that armor will still be garbage compared to the other forms of mitigation whichever way this buff would interact with it, but I guess it would be a bit more viable if the buff reduced the dmg first. EDIT: Reading through the official thread people are saying that the reduction still wouldn't matter vs the physical damage 1-shots because the damage would still be extremely high. Still the skill is going to be quite good. Another thought, assuming increased effect of buffs works on it and end charge phys dmg reduction, with +max endurance charges and a high enough incr effect of buffs how high could a build get the -physical dmg %? Might be able to get it above 50%? | ||

Also, with increased duration gem and passives, you can probably stretch it out a lot, the same way people manage to get like a 30 second IC. There's 90% on the tree, 74% from a 20/20 duration gem, 15% from a Chober Chopper (sp) | ||

I try not to think about it anymore, but it was frustrating just seeing whites, and occationally magics - again and again. Even getting a chance orb is very hard for me. | ||
