Well Vaal Cyclone is our adrenalin-kick xD The Crit-calculation doesn't necessacrly make it worse - it makes it different  ---- So after ripping my flame surger to vaalcylone-ele-reflect (yes yes ... i ripped again to vaal cyclone) yesterday night, I needed motivation to get back up. Decided to challenge myself for my personal "lv1-60 record" which was something around 9h20mins (play-time). Bought the equip and well 8h30minutes(play-time) later i ding'd lv60 :D now my brain feels dull but hey ... everything for PoE right? | ||

Well depends on the builds ^^ I love to level with groundslam and pillar of caged god because it scales crazy in early levels. So i bought equip for about ~15-20 chaos including pillar, meginords belt, goldrim, flat phys rings. And yea i used a low lvl 5link from a friend. Then I normally self-progress through act1-3 normal. maybe some friends help out with wps and/or a domkill here and there. I guess the "strategy" is just; get some build you know in-and-out get the gear/gems/etc. be disciplined and grind out the general areas. And ofc you want to get as much help with wps/questkills from friends as possible to free up time to grind moar :p edit: I get somewhat in a "race-mindset" if I do stuff like that. Meaning; I try to skip stuff that I know will take too much time for the effort and exp. I skipped a hell lot of big beyonders that were too tanky, tho I killed beyonder that went down quickly enough. Sound so stupid but yea ... put your ego aside don't prove that you are man, try to remind yourself that you want to be quick. edit2: a little "gimmick" I used this time was Vaal Groundslam, I was amazed by the efficiency up to merciless using it in a 4link with meele phys, inc area and multistrike. This character was pretty fun though, the highest level I've gotten and thanks to the beyond people I was able to learn and experience a lot that I would not have been able to on my own. My losses don't feel like they were that bad. The only really expensive gear I had on me was a lightning coil that I used a fair amount of currency on to 6s and 5l and then a drillneck, everything else was rather inexpensive. Time to reroll, I want to try out rightous fire and shockwave totems :D. I alrdy started a marauder so I guess I'll be testing rf first! | ||

Most specs can do all the bosses up to at least 70 I think (okay chaos snake dude hurts). 71 you have to worry about temple piety, 72 has 2 ABSOLUTELY ABSURD bosses in jungle valley and torture chamber. 73 ez, 74 residence dom is hard, 75 necropolis merveil is nuts, 76 crema is nuts, 77 shrine piety is nuts, 78 both are risky but palace dom is much worse than courtyard bosses. I guess if ur melee some others are harder than I give them credit for since they are kiteable. | ||

I'm at work right now but I believe my specs right now are... Lv67 HP: 3400 Armour: 55% mitigation 76% fire 75% cold 75% light +4% chaos Searing totem does ~5200 sheet dps, not including EE and Flammability bonuses obviously. | ||

well anyway i'd be looking for raw HP. Everything else should be doable I think. TBH if ur looking to farm wealth and not necessarily make a busted spec to clear super-endgame content then u should just run piety a lot until you feel comfortable running dominus, then run him a lot. Do it in 6-man drops for the gear  | ||

Bosses are like monkeys with the totems and I generally just AFK while they run around deciding which totem to attack while dying. As for the chaos, yep, first time I've ever had a positive chaos res character, hell my 80 something LA ranger was still -60% i believe. I'm not sure how it happened but I got a few pieces (rings/boots/chest) that have insane dual/tri res, so on other pieces like gloves, helm, amulet I went full life/chaos res/amour etc. Also in this build, you get 4 +life +chaos resist nodes which certainly helped. I'm not even sure it's worth having so much chaos resist but some how it's happened and it seems kinda neat. My HP should start getting up there now that I've greedily taken most all of my fire/burn/totem damage nodes. I was greedy and took those before a lot of my life nodes because the build just felt so safe while leveling. It was a nice change of pace as I'm generally incredibly safe and get all my life nodes before taking any offensive things. | ||
