My 5L LS is: Multistrike, WED, Faster Attacks, Added Fire I got a 20% LS and I feel like 60% pierce is enough so far, thats why I didn't pick up the pierce nodes in the tree I still have all my respec points and I just skilled the tree on the fly without min-maxing that much. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to go next (given its only very few points left)? Should I respec any parts to be more efficient? Did I do any major mistakes in the tree? Is Point Blank worth it with LS? So far im pretty satisfied, I am wrecking 70-72 maps, but not 100% sure that there isn't room for improvement | ||

Tooltip DS is like 14k, while ST is just a bit above 2k. That said, it's still 4L, so maybe it would improve a bit if I got a 5L. Just had to start a Dagger char after finding a 8,4% crit chance 1,4 attack speed and 220ish dps dagger (with two 30-ish resists on top of that). | ||

ilvl 77 ambushers are guaranteed over 200 pdps with either a flaring or a 100+% ipd prefix, any suffix, regal anything, and then craft ipd or flat depending on what's missing. Plus if your suffix is ias/crit or if your regal is good you have a godly dagger. If you have the "can have multiple crafted affixes" master level 8 then its actually a joke. | ||

I will never have a lvl 8 master though, especially not on Beyond. And I probably am not alone here. I would probably not even get it on Rampage, as it seems to take ridicolously long. I got 2 lvl 6 masters right now, and feel like even getting lvl 7 will be tough. And it doesn't even seem to be really "worth" the grind (unless it's fun for you) on the 3 month leagues, since for the next ones you'll have to do it again. But I still like the masters expansion, it's by far better on Sacrifice of the Vaal or what it was called. Especially as I avoid Corrupted Zones all the time and never do Atziri, so it was basically nothing for me. | ||

You might just be too tanky. I'm having that problem right now on my ranger because I took too many life nodes and my damage hasn't kept up. Crit specifically is much better with the right investments into nodes like power charges. | ||

My single target dps is over the top, I was just wondering if ST is still a good choice or whether I should try something else for AoE. Is this a viable build for farming maps in softcore without constant dying? I am currently farming Merciless Sarn for an upgrade to Terminus Est to carry me to maps (necessary/worthwhile?). I'm playing with Spectral Throw and Double Strike. Any advice would be appreciated, I stopped playing a while ago and am trying to get back into the game. | ||

Well first off, you can't compare ST tooltip DPS to DS tooltip DPS, or its not a really good indicator of how well ur ST is doing. The one big factor ST has to its benefit if you crit ur projectiles will crit multiple time due to the nature of crit calculation per skill use and the Loh from ST is one of the best in game. To go something like pure Double/DualStrike I would still try to get my hands on BoR to get the survivablity from perm-blind. If you want some real comparison go to some map boss like grotto. Prepare ur links so its comparable (ST-GMP -> ur DS should be linked to at least MeleeSplash) and try to compare by watching his life-bar and stopping time. If u are sick of ST or something, maybe try Molten Strike ^_^ | ||
