I went fp till about 52. Post your build only way to get an idea about what you can support. its all about the mana regen rate. but then i just spent a couple of nights on my dual totem templar and fucking killed him needlessly 20 mins after getting dual online properly. im pissed. Good build, bit of a mana regen issue (and manapool) had awesome resists and a bit low life ... idiot | ||

GMP does: - gives you a bigger "arc", often I just let it "fan out" the whole 90 degrees angle and freeze the whole room. - gives better shotgun damage I use a 3 link'ed ice spear for sniping dangerous bosses/reflect rares. | ||

This! I would personally go with: FP-Spell Echo-Cold Pen-GMP for a 4link. 5/6 link could be: Faster Casting, Faster Projectiles (synergises very well with FP), when playing with Crit PCoC and/or Critical Strike Multi For your last thought: Added Cold would be far superior in your scenario compared to added lightning or added chaos. | ||

So far: 395 Jewler used for 6soc(8x 5soc), 59 Fusings, 1x 5Link 540 Chroms used, 5x 3-Red, 0x 4-Red Expecting 2k Chroms to color it T.T But ´hey crafting is fun right? ^^ | ||

I have a question connected to cold penetration. Does it also work on you when you hit mobs with elemental reflect? In that case, it would be almost certain that a high crit freeze pulse will kill himself. | ||

As far as I know the portion of damage that is taken is treated as the same damage-type that the incoming attack was (therefor; spell, cold, projectile) and is then reduced by your defensive stats. That the damage itself gets any amplifier that is linked to the original incoming attack would be news to me  (and would be weird in itself) edit: to clarify; your cold pen allready got applied at the initial hit therefor doesn't need to be applied once again when the reflect hits you. | ||

Cold Penetration will cause you to deal more cold damage and therefore more cold damage will be reflected, but that cold damage will interact with your character like normal damage from other sources, except that reflected damage can't cause status effects or stun. | ||

Rip Lv65 Beyond 2h cyclone marauder. Was a really fun character, I died to a strongbox that I really didn't have any concerns about. It spawned like all void bears though, and i was dropping fast (even with max res) I thought I got away, but desync'd back about 10 feet. I probably could have alf-f4 but I thought I got away. What a mistake. Oh well, time to plan something else. Rip CrmspellOMEGA. | ||

Right now about 500 tooltip DPS on ball lightning with spell echo + ball lightning + lightning pen + life leech + increased aoe, 2.5K ES/700HP (no nodes, might go CI), Act 1 merciless Any tips? I suppose for Vagan I could drop the increased AOE for something and be not lazy and use conductivity... not sure what else. Current Tree | ||

Current Tree Your passive tree is far from optimal And afaik you don't want to use inc aoe. Go for Faster Casting+SpellEcho+BL+LightPen+LifeLeech. Some key questions: When do I start using chisels? When do I start using alchs instead of transmutes? If I'm 73 and the xp from 66 maps will decrease, should I vendor recipe them to 67 or still run the 66s? | ||

Inhabitat by Skeleton Those stats sort of increase exp and map loot without making the clear-time suffer. If you play beyond-league you don't want to play pack size and sea witches if you can't handle lost of beyonder. I tend to only chisel 74+ maps, sometimes when i feel like it i just randomly chisel 70-73 maps but in general 74+. My group stopped alching maps for exp. The outcome of alching maps is so random that it oftens hurts your clear speed. Once you hit a point where your party just facerolls maps and gear can sustain bad mods(ele weak, halfreg, noreg etc) you can yolo-alch and chaos maps to get maps like: xx% packsize, xx% magic monster, ... I only vendor 66's if I know I won't drop down to 67's in terms of mappool. Meaning when I have plenty 69s some 68s and playing mostly 70s+. I tend to save around 10 66's if I twink or die. 67's suck so hard most of the times(yeye mountain ledge is the exception..) that I don't even want them as well so 66's go into chisel recipies in lategame and 67's get traded up or also chisel. | ||
