Generally CI is really bad early on, since you won't have very much ES without using armourer scraps on your eq, which you shouldn't do early. Early on, your hp is still significant compared to your ES, so losing all but 1 hp effectively makes you much less tanky, you really should only be getting CI near the end of cruel/somewhere in merciless, where chaos damage is threatening to kill you through your (hopefully much more substantial) ES in a couple of hits.

This game is perfect.I find PoE very well done. I am lvl 35 witch atm. Good Games
P.S. I agree with doubleupgradeobbies! about it

Man playing a Shadow after running Summoner witch for a good 50 levels makes me realize how spoiled that build makes you in terms of safety/gear quality. Have to actually look for stats now instead of just socket links that I needed :s . I am doing opposite. I got a summoner to half way act 3 normal and decided I kill and progress too slow so I started a Shadow now. Using staff and Double Strike (plan to switch to Frenzy and Flicker later), 2x fire trap and LS+Fork for groups and Bear Trap for tougher rares (or guys like Chitters and Brutus). Half way Act 2 now and I am soo much faster then I ever was with a summoner :D
End game plan is Acrobatics, spell dodge, arrow dodging, Blood Magic, lots of life and Blood Rage + Flicker and LS for bigger groups. My life regen will be 3.7% which will be more then higher level Blood Rage. I plan to have around 30% crit with everything factored and probably around 200-250% crit damage.

Why didn't you get lightning arrow after normal brutus? You're probably going to have to buy life leech or find it in a drop, I think I found both of mine in drops, was awesome. For WED either play a templar to the last quest reward in act 1 normal or buy it. Ranger gets faster attacks from cruel merv's lair quest. You get increased Crit damage multiple times after act 1 cruel.

You should give summoner a chance until you get Minion Instability if you haven't already. Once you get to around level 40, mobs start dropping like flies to the aoe death explosions but I could see that being a pretty heavy time investment to enjoy a build since that's well into Cruel Difficulty.

I'm running a tanky marauder char with 1h+shield around lvl 28. I'm having a tough time against caster mobs, specifically cause I do pitifull dmg without my Molten Shield as it dosnt trigger on magic projectiles so I have to use ground slam and heavy strike and I basically only have defensive nodes....
Against a caster group I basically have to kill each caster mob individually -.- Is there any good strat for 1h+shield to effectivly clear caster groups

I have lightning arrow. I still want a lower level of it. I got Life Leech but sold it because I didnt need it at that time, but I'm working more towards lategame now. WEP will play templar, sounds reasonable. Faster attacks I got it now and CD I'm on cruel.. will just play a bit further, thanks for the headsup

How does CI + Ghost Reaver + Life leech work if life leech gives back maximum 20% of your life back per second? CI gives you 1 health max.

When you got Ghost Reaver it gives leech per Max ES instead. If you also decide to go CI also put Vaal Pack into your build

I don't think I have a second one (and if we're in the same league) I would give you one but I don't. I do have crit damage though, currently don't plan on using it an can always get another.
I'm on softcore btw.

Maybe I do in some future once I can get/buy a spell totem. Spell totem+skeletons would make my life much easier. So far I didn't see anyone sell one and my WTBs on trade channel didn't get me one.

The economy in this game is so confusing to me
Barter based 2 complicated
Also, does anybody actually use dual strike past level 30?

Shield Charge can't miss and has a nice stun duration. If you get them clumped up, use ground slam.

Hmmm, maybe a 15% DS is worth more than a regal? Dunno, hence my struggle XD.
Oh well, thats life. I at least found a godly axe after using the same rare from the first "boss" (getting into town) up to level 25... :/

It's so hard to figure out what stuff is worth. There's a cottage industry right now of ripping off noobs, for sure. I typed "wtb Arc" in chat (I was too lazy to start a new Witch just to get it for free ~2 hours in) and some guy said he'd sell it to me for 4 Orbs of Alchemy... yeesh.
