1. I see that "15% crit chance for spells" stuff seems to improve the base crit by 15% instead of giving you actual 15% so that's a little confusing when you start out and I skilled it now. I see there are Orbs of Regret to get skill refunds. As a say lvl 60 char, how long does it take to farm enough to buy one? So far I only know of 6 refunds via quests. 2. I wanted to play a curse/arc based lightning witch but everybody tells me it sucks. Any chance to make that work? I like to shoot lightning, always have  Went for spell damage, crit multiplier, cast speed so far. It looked like a logical thing with the shocked debuff being a damage amplifier and arc being an auto aoe spell.3. Is there a reliable way to get skill gems aside from making new chars and questing? It seems like the ones sold in the chat are usually +% quality and therefore pretty expensive, far too expensive to experiment at least at lvl 16. | ||

There are end game maps (various randomized levels with special mods), trying new builds, and various types of races that you will be able to participate in which I would consider 'end game'. And who knows what else these guys have planned. Act 4 is planned, and GGG has said they will be adding content and supporting this game for the next 10 years or so. | ||

Or do they plan on adding more acts, (4, 5, 6?) guy above, 15% is increase by 15% so if you use a bow, you aren't gaining much. to the guy I quoted, act 4 will be released when game is out of open beta, so hopefully a couple months. end game PoE will be the following (from what I know) +Maps: These are maps that are almost like items, the maps are random and have various features (25% more rare monster spawns) you 'make' these maps that have various attributes and this is the primary way to MF. +PvP: There is actual PvP in this game. +Races: These are X long events that allow users to compete to see who can get the highest level in X time. These races usually have cool prizes. +Leagues: Right now we only have default and hardcore. Soon we will have cutthroat (Hardcore with open world PVP) and something else I can't think of. +Ladder: Ladder seasons, resets and contests for the leagues listed above. If im getting anything wrong or leaving anything out please let me know! | ||

These are items with things like quality, rarity and modifiers, but when used they spawn an area (only accessable via portals the map opens) of high-level mobs to clear. The maps have a "level" which indicates what level the mobs are, as well as modifiers such as +% blue and yellow monsters, etc. | ||

Several questions here The endgame is so-called maps where you can choose risk and reward on maps of high level. They are randomly generated, so there are a lot of variations. Act 3 is not finished yet. They expect a content patch with the rest of act 3 in the coming months! They are planning an act 4 in about a year or so. However, they real draw to the game should be that it will, to a large extend, run in shorter period leagues. As soon as they have got their server stability up, you will se them start to run leveling races of 1-4 hours primarily, with bracketed pvp and maybe cutthroat. Hardcore and default are only the background leagues, where you can grind up and have fun in pve. If you are any kind of competitive you will want to visit the leagues! | ||

You can obtain I believe 6-8 points worth of resets per difficulty setting. Orbs of regret aren't too difficult to farm compared to things such as orbs of alchemy or exalted orbs. You can also trade orbs of scouring for orbs of regret. If anything, you can just trade any other form of currency for orbs of regret. 2. People rather prefer playing the spork builds (spark + fork gemming) simply because its a strong build which is why they call everything else crap. If you want to play arc/curse then go ahead, don't let people's comments stop you. If you plan on going an arc build then something to look at is the chain gem. 3. The most effective methods for farming gems is just as you said, creating characters and getting them via quests. The quality % gems are generally through drops or gemcutter prism (which is expensive form of currency that boosts gem quality). | ||

After that whenever I tried I'd be dead tired. Also about the economy in general, I'm still having a bit of a hard time trying to wrap my head around what's worth what and whatnot. Is everything below fusing worthless? Would anyone here happen to have a Wrath and Discipline FT? I'm on Americas gateway playing softcore. I just found some STR gems, their names escapes me at the moment. And I keep on seeing people sway for or against Necromantic Aegis. Is this really not worth it? And why is it that when I refunded it I never got a skill point back? Is that intended or a bug? | ||
