Really tanky, really good survivibality and pretty good dmg. Was able to do everything expect fear and the uber uber boss. Might try to go with a omni build soon but I'm having ltos of fun farming with this character | ||

I'm playing right now Phantasmal cremation (and Phantasmal unearth) with the popular combo of Aegis Aurora and Melding of the flesh. It is insanely tanky with the 90% to all max res, and with the Necromancer's bone offering I have 63% block to attack and 67% block chance to spells without Glancing blows, lol. I'm now starting to farm a Ashen of the stars (insanely good for both phantasmal skills) but I'm only playing a few hours daily so It will take me some time. I think I will try all new Uber bosses after that. | ||

I started with DD ignite. I know people are sour because it's OP/the meta but to be perfectly honest, it has always been a great starter because of the way the skill works. It's also super tanky, I barely ever die. Got halfway to 96 now. I started a spark inquisitor as my second char. I never played spark before but it felt so good while leveling I had to try. Turns out I didn't plan with enough cast speed to make it feel good but I'm currently trying to fix that and with a couple more pieces I think I can get it where I want it to be. Currently I'm running a mix of maps and Delve. I have only done Shaper so far but I'm planning to do more bosses once I have acquired a few more items for my sparker. It's also the first time I'm actually thinking about completing challenges because of the armour. 20 are going to be hard though... | ||

I did too Aul this league for the first time. And twice too. This is the first league I delve so deep (I'm 450 right now). First Aul didn't drop me anything good. But the second one dropped me the Aul amulet with free mana reservation for Malevolence that I sold for 20ex  | ||

On the bright sight, I managed to beat Maven (normal) for the first time. Was on my last portal and continued to succeed 4-5 memory games to beat her. Was on the edge of my seat and it felt really good.^^ Does someone have an idea for a good boss killer to attempt the Uber bosses? Got about 50 ex budget I would say. Or what to upgrade? My DD should theoretically up for the task but I don't know where to get much more damage other than my weapon, which is a pain to upgrade. Other than that I could go for a melding setup to just not die anymore... But tbh I'm rather looking for something with a lot of damage. I'm tired of bosses with billions of hp. Like, even normal bosses like Shaper, Elder, Uber Elder which I have no problem beating just take way too long. The fights become a boring chore. | ||

I would do a seismic trap build if you want to just kill bosses with that budget no problem. Shaper is always gonna be a chore unfortunately with the phases. | ||

I got a mechanical question regarding cruelty support. Apparently the traps get the buff, if supported by the gem, but it doesn't do anything because the DoTs count as mine (on kill effects work etc.). But what if I get the cruelty buff from another source? Would it add dot multi to the trap if it's supported by a cruelty gem as well? | ||

It also enables me to run a more budget +2 amulet and still run Herald of Agony on top of all the defensive auras. I got an answer on the official forums and it seems if I get the buff myself somehow and have Cruelty linked to the trap as well, it adds the dot multi. =) Source | ||

defence package finally getting the nerf hammer. deserved for sure, felt so free just stuffing spell suppress defiance banner + auras and instantly tanky character kinda sad about the sniper's mark nerf tho. made it so nice for bossing hope the trickster rework is good cus that's one of my all time fav ascendncies.. might be time to revive the chaos trickster | ||

I didn't like the defence package because it was pretty zero-thought. Slap spell suppress, defiance banner, grace and/or determination, and your 4K life build is instantly tanky. It could be used on the vast majority of builds. Way too good. for better or for worse the game has been about 1 shots and zoom hyper speed for years now. Highly doubt some defence nerfs now will change anything that much. Unless they nerf raider can probably just do the same builds with the 50% spell supress there. other ascendencies will have to adapt tbf though, since I don't play that much, maybe my opinions arent the most valid xD I typically get a build to like 92 and quit | ||
