I haven't really succeeded in creating my own successful build in poe. And it's something I really want to achieve. I got a couple of ideas of this league. First I think there already is Doryani prototype build, and I called it good this league as it easy to lower resistance this league and get some kind of benifit in return. So would combine it with inquisitor CnC and Mjöjlner. Not sure original but kinda what I came up with.
The other thing I have been thinking of is elementalist with lighting ignite and golems. But with Black Cane and The Scourge, and having golems spawn Phantasmes and give more spell damage via Black Cane. Also increased Damage via the scourged. Not sure if you guys have any experience using it and how many phantasm I can keep up in boss fights, but of me it seems like one of highest spell damage buff I could get.

The league looks dope. Earthquake is melee, how is that good for Ignite? Will Armageddon Brand be able to use new EE or EO? Hexblast might be interesting? Does it have good base damage? What kind of damage does it do? Can it be used to activate EE? Earth Quake has very high base damage and damage effectiveness. With the changes to ignite, a big hit, either converted or with elementalist or both, could give you a lot of burning damage. Armageddon Brand will be able to use EO, yes. It was never able to use EE without Malachai's Artifice and that will still be viable. Depending on your class, EE will probably be to far away now anyways, especially with the nerfs it got. from what I understand, skils that aren't inherently ignite boost got a massive 150% more ignite this patch? so while arma brand and fireball got their more ignite mods decreased, stuff like EQ are open season.
seems strong, though I'm thinking of just going Phys DoT or Chaos DoT, since they also benefit from the item+passive tree boosts. Might be generic but I'm thinking of going classic ED Contagion, it's been a few years since I played it. Wicked Ward + faster energy charge should make the occultist version tanky AF

I would assume it's scaling about as much as Dark Pact does, and maybe the 3% goes up to 6%. Keep in mind that you can use GMP and Dying Sun and the skill shotguns.
It would certainly be more interesting otherwise, but I think it would be pretty OP.

I am sure the projectile part of molten strike should work with it. I find the link skills interesting especially the intuitive link. Where you can use spells that need close range from a distance.
Edit if linked with blade vortex would it spawn on you or linked target.

Feel the uniques in this league are close to broken. The new belt with 4 perma up utility flask seem insane, I wonder if you can actually use 4 times increased elemental resistance to give you 120 resistance or am I miss understanding the item, plus the effect of the flask itself.

Molten Strike projectiles can chain though, doesn't that mean they need to collide with enemies to do that (I have no idea but it would make sense in my head...)?
The uniques are nuts but I expect them to be of similar rarity as Headhunter, which would be fine in my eyes.

Yeah, don't plan with that. I mean, I could be wrong here but after all the interviews with Chris, it is pretty clear to me that they wouldn't put in super OP uniques unless they are basically unobtainable.

I mean, if the belt doesn't have some unforeseeable drawbacks, it's the absolute nuts. If it's as rare as HH, it'll likely be more expensive.

It's completely insane and I think it will be at least as rare as HH. it could even be rarer. Is Atziri's Mirror prophecy more rare than HH? I can imagine it being at that tier.
I think this belt is stronger than HH, because HH is mainly a "win more" belt (rofl stomp maps) while flask belt can carry you in the hardest content (The Feared, new uber content)
They released Chaos masterieis. I think I'm actually rolling ED Contagion lol. Hope I don't get bored, if I do maybe I'll switch to Blight CwC

So I looked at the affix wording, and only draw back of belt I can find as that on use effect will not work, besides that it doesn't work on unique flask. Scrolled through the modes on crafting site to see what you can get. Noticed that there a delved mods. So you can get some insane stuff like mana cost reduced 100% and 60% of damage taken regained as life lech, or 12% life regen with 4 x same mod. And that is without increased effect of flask.
