This season decided to do HC SSF (never finished the game before) and it's a whole lot of fun seeing as how I don't really know how all of the bosses work. Up to act 9 without researching any boss moves etc and I'm finally getting nervous because I'd sort of like to finish the story "blind" but I don't want my baby to die =[ (iceshot/barrage deadeye) But damn it is thrilling to dodge my way to victory without really knowing whats coming. I might have a rather shallow understanding of the game, but it feels like just about anything is viable, so long as you can click/react fast enough. DPS doesn't matter if you never get hit. Just saying, probably the best free game I've ever played, nice balance of "this game is only as hard as you allow it to be" depending on how you prep your character. | ||

Wand changes look really fun.. is it difficult to gear up a wander with basic gear? I'm thinking of doing it as a starter if it can get by with a few uniques | ||

Love the new cluster jewels that will you do some builds and use some skills that hasn't been used very much, especially with the stacking effect. Will people begin to use Warcries this patch with the: Cry Wolf: 30% increased Warcry duration, 30% increased Warcry buff effect, Warcries count as having 10 additional nearby enemies. Can see having 2 or 3 of them and doing some fun stuff. | ||

I probably will play as league starter full bleeding bow Gladiator (puncture + Split Arrow / RoA). It sounds fun with the blood explosions and the arena challenger chargers. | ||

One idea for SSF is to go bleed, you can target farm the bleed fossil easily enough and get pretty workable weapons in SSF. getting a purely high pDPS foil seems a lot more difficult to me | ||

I was planning on doing a Berserker speedy boy and just playing it pretty straight melee league starter with Sunder and the usual suspects, with potential for getting wild if the new Hollow Palm stuff turns out to be hilarious. Berserker + an additional 60% more attack speed lol. But now I'm curious about all this wand stuff. Kinetic Bolt looks solid as an ability, space coverage, etc. But wand leveling has always been a bit weird, maybe their new changes and scaling to try and buff wand leveling will help. We'll see. The bigger question is I also don't know which ascendancy I'd play with wands lol, Golemancer is solid all around for generic spell stuff but I feel like I've done a couple of those recently, not super exciting. Trickster is also generically powerful for that corner of the passive tree but I've played hella ED Tricksters in the last year too... Got a week to chew on it. Also very likely to start SSF for the first time in a while. | ||
