For an update on a personal note, I've finally got a woke gem and it's cold pen of all things. Also, I went through 150 more dense fossils on a belt to hit cdr only once. Yuck. Probably cheaper to crusader slam if I roll good prefixes. It's a one in five chance. But it's a 40 ex+ belt if I get triple t1 prefix + cdr. So you have 75% chance to take half the dmg and 25% to take full dmg? That still sounds squishier than 75%/60% dodge with acrobatics + elusive tbh but i guess you could technically combine them, even with the negative of acro. And can you confirm that Tranquility is about 70% increased dmg?
Can you elobarotate on the 30 aps, am i overlooking something?

I thought there was a weird interaction where it was specifically putting Frostbolt and Ice Nova in your Cospri's is what made the CoC Novas echo off the frostbolts or something. I probably totally misinterpreted that when I read it. So the Cospri's is literally only good for Frostbolt and 2 damage supports? Weird. Energy leech seems like it wouldn't matter if you're already taking some on the tree, but I'm noticing now that the juiced tree you posted does ditch those to free up lots more points.

Even in that Vid the dmg against bosses seemed horrible? And whats the advantage of this when compared to "classic" Coc Discharge which now allows for 9 power, 9 frenzy and 4 endurance charges? Which was allways a mapclear monster but struggled against bosses?

I think people like Ice Nova because of the freeze/chill aspect? Safer? Easier to scale? I'm not a CoC expert, this style is just way more popular that discharge right now. And the single target is not a joke, with the right investment and cooldown/attack speed balancing. Which I think is probably the biggest issue with Warri's example vid, at a glance. Possibly hit rating as well. Something about the proc rate just doesn't look right. bo1b also mentioned Ice Nova not echoing correctly off the single frostbolt too (no jewel).
Plan is still to use this guide as a reference for some of the technical aspects and overall links, with some of the stuff bo1b mentioned to spin it into ES based CI build. I already have/had some decent ES gear on my Trickster and the block setup with Lethal Pride. Like the emphasis on investing a bit more in defense this league, and the damage looks just fine. I'm most worried about finding the Dex required right now honestly lol.

Yeah as i said, in my video i have about 20ex invested, but all of that is in the 2 cospris at 5 each, the amu at ~6ex and some jewel. my actual gear is trash tier that i got mostly from leveling. I did a lot of optimization since. The map is also t19 with 26% more monster life too. And yes, i like fb icenova because of the visuals but also because of its defensive perks, like corpse shattering and freezing/blinding. Bameth and DD chests as well as delve are a joke to me.

Yea, though im worried that theres nothing about watchstones being hidden under influence. It really sucks running 80% of my maps without sextants trying to spawn the conqs. :| Awakened coc bug fixed so i snapbought 4 of them at 15 ex, was watching them disapear from trade live, now theyre already at 20+ :D

Isn't that "Fixed a bug where Citadels were still being hidden when the boss encounter was not available"? That's how I interpreted it. They've openly admitted that wasn't working as intended so I'd be surprised if they still haven't fixed it.

Hmm well not sure. That wording is weird because when a boss encounter is available, the citadel is on the map, but you cant access the stones regardless.

Don't judge the build off of his video, both his survivability and damage is attrocious.
Keep in mind that it's not just 75/75 block at 50% chance, it's also 10k+ es with 5% es on block and elusive (which is a garbage defensive mechanic, imo). Something would have to get through all that to one hit you, and if you're leeching and attacking at 7.49 times a second, you're not lacking for recovery. You should be able to face tank promenade bosses even at there most juicy, I sure can.
The patch hasn't actually gone through yet.

It needs at least two projectiles to echo, with one it can't.

Ive made the switch to ES too, bought some mediocre gear for starters. I'm at about 7700 es now, still lack the watcher's eye though. Ive went from 160k icenova per cast to 113k and it feels like shit tbh. The sustain is a bit better because of better 2k more ehp and a bit more leech, but i could have just unselected a few nodes and went for the big life nodes at the marauder start and achieved the same with life. The biggest loss is of course the flat cold damage from the second cospris as well as the loss of hatred aura (mandatory discipline instead), cant compensate that even if i get a shield with +1 skills, good enough es and spell block, but thats like dozens of ex. Im curious whats your dmg per ice nova?

Checked quick, looks like 120k-ish at a glance, though I didn't look exactly at the combination of auras and enemy configuration and flasks and stuff. I was mostly using the PoB as a gear and stat reference when I was buying stuff, just now imported my actual gear to give you that number. I think that's with everything up incl Vaal RF, idk. My gems are also not fully leveled, bought a 21/0 Ice Nova but other than that most stuff is 17-19 range. Have only done a couple maps since I actually put it together. It's also only lvl 92, so missing a few talents and a jewel slot (for Watcher's Eye I don't have). Idk how much damage those would really add.
The Watcher's Eye and Lethal Pride are mostly defensive. bo1b would have to weigh in about how to squeeze more damage out, even if it's expensive.
Edit: when I think about it, I think 120k doesn't seem unreasonable for a single Nova especially when you're focusing more on defense (shield + ES tree), as long as you're actually hitting/critting as often as possible and have the proper attack rate (just below 7.5aps). If your flask+golem+etc hit and crit rate are both at or near 100%, then 120k * 7.5 aps is 800-900k dps, just from the CoC Nova basic math. With the novas echoing off frostbolts, the extra cospri's procs in general, the vortex for more single target buffs, that's definitely well north of 1M, which seems fine for CoC?
Edit2: totally forgot to add that's without Tranquility anointed, which would be big, up to about 140k nova according to PoB. The -cold res on helm would be another 5% on top of that too. So even though Watcher's Eye and Lethal Pride are expensive defensive pieces, another 3-4ex will put nova damage to ~145k. Another 3-4 talent points will add about 5% a pop as well, not counting the couple needed for a Watcher's Eye slot. That's above your 160k reference again, but with all of the added ES+block benefits (and properly hit/crit/aps capped). The potential is definitely there. That's either enough to do endgame stuff as is (I can imagine), or like I said bo1b might have one or two more suggestions.

I'm doing 152 damage per nova, + frostbolts + other nova, puts me comfortably above 2m shaper dps, closing in on 2.5. After I get some improved gear I'll have more like 3 - 3.5 mil dps and 12k es. I'd suggest this is an insane upgrade over your video as I NEVER have to run away from a boss, I literally just face tank it, and it dies pretty quick. Since I'm comfortably farming sirius 8, shaper, and uelder, I suggest that if you want more mapping speed just buy an inspired learning, put it where the tempered mind goes and go from there, or better yet, by two. Not like you don't generate infinite money farming t19s and sirius 8.
A truly endgame option is to buy a bottled faith, oh and if you can, make sure you have aspect of the spider.

Still enjoying the league / new atlas (32 watchstone'd atlas in SSF, though wondering if I should "isolate" a region for very loosely target-farming eg downgraded Volcanos/Calderas); rolled a Cremation Chieftain loosely based on Nugi/Raiz/Carlos' as I haven't played either and had Sire Of Shards/Soul Tether/Formless Inferno rattling around. Hilariously tanky. Any tips on crafting Vermillion Rings or an interesting (influenced?) chest to slap the Gravivius veiled mod on?

Great, I upgraded my windows in place from 7 to 10 and updated my GPU drivers to the newest version (I'm on a AMD R7 250X... Old Potato...). Anyway since the upgrade+update PoE crashes instantly after loading past character selection.. ><

So the portal to the conquerer spawned off map and I couldn't get to it. I closed the map and opened a new one. The conquerer influence is now always on, but I can no longer spawn him no matter how many maps I run. Also the watchstones in this region are now visible and can be removed. Any way to reset this? imgur.com
