Just now starting to understand the crafting system, making purchases on poe.trade, and preparing to start mapping. So many thing I'm still so oblivious to, but can't wait to learn it eventually. Bought a cheap 5-linker just to buff my Ancestral Warchief, and I've noticed a huuuuuuge spike by adding an Added Cold damage gem on it, also the bonus of a ton of freezing procs. | ||

I'm not entirely sure on bleed, but if it works like poison or ignite, PPAD doesn't actually double dip, cos Attack mods don't double dip. Pierce or slower projectiles might be better options(also situationally point blank). | ||

And ofc damn vorici is only like lvl5 2/3 so I cant shop cheaper fusings from him. At least I learned something valuable. =D | ||

They all work the same way and are restricted to the exact same pool of inheritable keywords. | ||

also cwc should let you be a basically ranged build so you shouldn't have too much difficulty as long as you have good sustain or are willing to tp to refill pots when necessary. ES is probably not worth mentioning unless you somehow have ghost reaver specced because malachai is the kind of fight where you are unlikely to get recharge off. So in terms of raw HP, you'd like to have at least 2.5k imo. obviously cap res. | ||

Range with the less area gem for more deeps is actually pathetic (just got a 4l). But i guess my bladefalltotem could do enough alone anyway | ||

bladeflurry's range is a bit questionable and thats before you consider conc effect does bladeflurry let you aim the cwc spell anywhere on the screen? because stuff like wither does and it's very nice. | ||

edit: Hmm, thinking about it, it's probably not better. Pious Path with the cannot be affected by status ailments on consecrated ground sounds pretty good and consecrated ground is much easier to keep up than killing every 4 seconds for bosses that don't spawn adds, especially with Inquisitor. | ||

realistically bf-cwc-bf is not a very intelligent concept in the first place because there's just no upside. Either you waste a bunch of nodes scaling the attack, or you lose a bunch of damage from attacking instead of using a spell that you are properly scaling, or you waste a bunch of links having cwc bladefall linked to your main damage attack that you scale. Regardless of which it is, there just isn't a way to properly scale and use the attack and the spell at the same time. Plus your weapons are going to be either 0dps weapons or not have spell damage so there's more problems there. I guess you could make it work with a scourge claw and scaling minion damage? still seems weak compared to making a more focused build | ||
