It's broken on everything it works for but if you just remove the functionality completely KB goes directly to the dumpster and then we're back to 0 wand skills again. But then at least the bow skills would be | ||

it's single target does suffer badly but it's still a good skill unlike psiphon which is simply a bad skill The awkward part is that wanders don't have a secondary 5/6l to put say barrage in for single target well and the fact that single target damage is becoming one of the key clearspeed limiters which is an issue in the oft-discussed "clearspeed meta", if you really care about that. As somebody who has absolutely no desire to hit 100, I don't care. | ||

A lot of the high dex nodes aren't efficient to path over. If you do go for it, I'm interested to see how a pure physical version stands up though. | ||

I was looking at this guide when I created my tree, but I honestly didn't check the vids of him lol. They really don't look very impressive, even though him doing Poorjoy's at lvl 78 doesn't say too much anyway. Makes me reconsider, because I had a +1 Totem Siege Ballista Ranger /w Chin Sol and no crit before Ascendancys were even out which as far as I remember did more damage (except when all of his 5 totems are out, maybe) while having more totem nodes (tankier totems) and I think also more def. Atziri's Step has 0 dex btw, but I guess you chose it because it's nice defensively. Starkonja probably is worse than a 13-15% Black Sun Crest too. | ||

I 5L'd my koams heart on HC with a vaal xd 2 decent resists and >1K armour too but very low life haha. wooo end of league vaaling xd | ||

Which I learned from Perandus is very farmable. Gotta do it again next league, only took me like 20 100iiq maps. Perhaps I was lucky though | ||

I might want to make it as my first char but not sure if BF is best to lvl with. I probably have to wait until 70 to go CI and 75 to be confident with gear for CI Discharge because at times those whirlwinds into packs are so yolo. On my testing SC char I've died 2-3 times by whirling in to white pack and I just didn't proc discharge even with 33% base crit (which ups with power charges and dia flask.) The build as non-voll's devotion-char has so many close calls by simply whirling into room and then starting whirling with flasks up. | ||

Environmental traps in the labyrinth now calculate a player's life differently for determining damage. This was previously the total of a player's maximum life and Energy Shield. Now Energy Shield counts as 60% of its value for this purpose. Only Energy Shield covering life is counted. This was determined to be the best ratio applicable to the wide variety of Energy Shield based builds that exist. So in effect, Energy Shield will drain 40% slower when being hit by traps, is that right? | ||

The single target of KB is absolutely abysmal and as you say, you only get a 4 link for Barrage which is also going to be awful. The only reason anybody would continue to play KB without Frost Wall is if they're really attached to it for some reason. Yeah you can still make a KB character but it's in the same way you can still make an Ice Nova character if you want to. | ||

Flametotem, Incinerate Totem, Righteous Fire Totem also work very well of course, but meh I don't like Totems... If you want anyway, Flametotem if crit Inquisitor, else all Chieftain I think (recommended for HC I guess). Lightning Arrow and Explosive Arrow are two other popular skills probably. The later one can stack a lot of Life, while LA has top clear speed potential. Another cool build to think about would be Foxtactic's Hellfire Arc, but I don't know if it's expensive. He says it works fine on HC and is reflect safe. See here for more. | ||
