I'm not gona lie the reason why this game is so good is that they developed every part of the world. theres some crazy shit that happenes in tribal life. they have a gold province that becomes a cot and there where times where I held onto that province like it was (and probably was) my only chance at life and I held. you can just gigglestomp your one border country and his allies over and over again. good times good times.

War Exhaustion increased national revolt risk by mofo 19%, which creates a shit ton of neverending rebels. The rebels eventually take some provinces, as 5-6 stacks can't kill fast enough for all of them. Then, when they siege a rebel province, that is where I have to swoop in and make them assault the province instead of wasting a whole year sitting there. The exact thing is happening to me right now as I'm fighting a Castille-Russia-Portugal alliance, about 180k HRE vs 300k C-R-P. Fuckin rebels and castillians and russians and portugese So don't max out your WE. You should also be able to support a lot more than 200k troops.

But yeah it could be better :p

I looked at the WE and most of it is from attrition. Is that from assaulting provinces? Because I got a shit ton of manpower to burn (400k)

I would either go up to when they are a country, or I would day 1 release them, save, and load up as them and go from there. Hm.

Because I got a shit ton of manpower to burn (400k) Too many of your units sit in the same province... Split them up some more and there should be no more attrition. I had exactly this same problem... Cost me like 20-30 years to figure out whats wrong (fun 20-30 yeras when you own all of SA and a decent chunk of NA with revoltsrisks over 40i :p).

the one choice you had to pick was "live by the sword, die by the sword" and rebels open up in your entire nation. epic moment.

That's a Tribal Succession Crisis. It spawns patriots/nationalists on every uncored province and pretenders on one random cored province, and fires whenever your king dies in a Tribal Despotism, Steppe Nomads, or (if I recall correctly) Tribal Federation.

Since one of the two almost always is a 3/3/3 idiot, this makes me happy. That event is from vanilla. http://www.paradoxian.org/eu3wiki/The_Aftermath

Something in my army switched on and we marched though the pretender and all the rebels in 5 years. Thanks a lot. I just imagined a Paradox interpretation of WH:40k, and it was fucking glorious. Then I realized it will never happen. ![]()

I deleted the majority of my old savegames (cleared like 300mbs off my computer) but it keeps happening. Anybody know a possibility? I'm playing Complete on Steam, btw Have you tried to verify game files integrity under the properties -> local files for the game? If that doesn't help, standard advice, update drivers, sound, video and so on. (I got a CTD yesterday, no clue why.) Edit, btw why does War Exhaustion go up into the 20's in ~one year of war where I win ~20 battles and lose 3 without going below half manpower at any time?
