Ehubs has translated the Famitsu post about Necalli.

He seems like a very basic character but gets really interesting with permanent V-trigger when activated. Loses V-reversal though so there is some trade offs with it. Easily the character I'm most interested in so far.

Wow he sounds really cool. Idk if it's from the trailer or description or what but he kind of reminds me of SFxT Brian? I really haven't touched that game though, but more just like the feeling of a sort-of grappler that goes nuts. Could just be his stance/aesthetics though, gameplay might be totally wrong lol. Either way I'm really interested in this dude. Actually makes me excited for the other brand new characters too.

He seems like Oni or E-ryu with a command throw. I couldn't be less excited

I want more unique characters, unique like Dhalsim, Honda or Zangief. Not like Ryu, Ken and E-Ryu.

EDIT: They could've made him look unique at the very least. It's E-ryu with some paint on him.

I think both him and the little you could see from the play style looked awesome. I wonder if he is an early user of the Satsui no Hado. It kind of looks like it, especially when he enter medusa mode. From the trailer it looked like he has the dive kick that Akuma and E. Ryu has too.

And yes, fundamentals are forever. If you rely on vortex and set play then it looks like it will be a little worse for you. Tbh, I think quite many will get exposed when shoryukens take real commitment, no backdash invincibility and no crouch-tech etc.

Decided to drop by the arcade near the office after work yesterday due to EVO hype and there were way more people than I think I ever saw around the USF4 cab lol.

Sad thing was that it's not on the latest patch. But it didn't really affect any characters I play. Although playing against so much Zangief with that far travelling lp green hands was annoying.

Yeah I am glad the developers picked up on what was annoying to play against and really wasn't fun to do or fight. Looks like he has a siesmo, divekick, and a cool ass v trigger. Besides Ken this is the only character looking interesting to me so far.

So I moved recently and lost my offline scene and I've been trying to play some online instead. The problem is that I want to rip my face off every time I play online and I'm pretty much at the verge of quitting the game. Has anyone made the transition from offline to online and actually stayed sane?

You have to accept the fact that things just play differently online.

It's a lot harder to play on reactions online and it's easier to get away with risky stuff as you can't hear the stick mashing your opponent is doing (unless they have the mic on or something). You'll have to play a lot more on anticipation rather than reaction.

Just use online to get match experience with whichever character you're using. If you lose to stuff that makes you salty, just take a little break and come back whenever you feel like it.

I'm assuming of course the big problem is that and not lag problems or something.
