I wonder what's going to happen next Evo...will we see both Ultra and V? Missing out on either one would feel strange imo, I think you could switch to V only in 2017.

3s was never THE game like SF4 has been since it came out though to be fair. I'd be in favor of giving the game a break. I'm sure it'd get a ton of entrants if it happened but itd probably be like a lot of 3s tourneys are, just rusty players doing what they remember and still beating the ppl who try to stay active with it.

I don't think that'd be true if we would see a large amount of Japanese entrants. 3s is still played there more than other areas of the world iirc.

Just heard Vesper say in a video that this year was the last year for Ultra. So V is going to be so young next year that we're probably going to see new stuff at Evo that players will be able to hide up until that point. I like!

I understand Nuckledu was simply a sweet side bonus that came with the Crs acquisition, but I'm slightly irked that the fact that Nuckledu made Top8 at a 2,200+ bracket, and there's only one meager article about it is kind of meh.

I really do wish they get one other player sponsored.

Seriously. That KnuckleDu gets top8 at this EVO is one of the better accomplishment a Team Liquid player has had.

I just think there isn't anyone in top management at Liquid that's really into Street Fighter.
HotBid was really into smash and made the whole TeamLiquid Smash happen, so I'm not too surprised.

It's funny, for both EG and Liquid these days, the Fighting games is where they get the best results in comparision to other games :d
