I even have this problem just after I've been playing for a while online, even if I don't change any settings. The menus will slow down and I need to alt tab or restart the game to clear it up. Doesn't happen often, but still. Strange stuff.

Almost broke the 3k PP barrier today.
The game is so fun for me right now, it's like when I got my Starcraft epiphany and got promoted to Master. Must play more, improve, research !
I finally feel like I can play my main character to his true potential and not be weaken by execution fuck ups.

I know it's a bit more difficult on Xbox in comparison, but heh. It's great for moral support.

I'll try and remember to add you when I next get online, though I've just moved and I think my internet may be a little suspect. Makoto mirrors are always fun, even though they make me appreciate some of the rage I occasionally recieve.

Cammy hate has nothing to do with free wins or tier lists, and everything to do with her being simply annoying to play against (and thus to watch). Canada Cup proved this again just now, no one cheered for Xiao Hai during the match even though he was playing amazingly.

Dhalsim is more anoying IMO. And even then I don't think he's so annoying that matches can't get exciting.

It's just that Cammy is boring because she's expected to win everything.
She has like, zero bad match ups.
And everyone can do the Sako combo nowadays, so there isn't even things to be impressed technically.

Another things that also annoys me with all the Cammy hate, that you are focusing more on the character that won rather than the person who did it. Did Popi win over Infiltration just because he played Cammey?
This is just as annoying as the term Patchzerg in SC2:WoL

No one is gonna say XiaoHai doesn't deserve it, the guy is a beast at a lot of characters, just like Dakou. ( KOF players usually are anyway )
Cammy is not the first case of it. Yun in AE was probably a lot worse.
People got boo'ed for playing Yun back then haha

Because it's obvious Cammy is a bit too bullshit against mid tiers characters :p
XiaoHai could probably have won with another character as well, the guy is a beast. But it's not hard to see that BonChan had to fight extra hard because of the match up.
There's nothing shameful about recognizing that.

In the end you play to win tho, and picking top tier is just a smart thing to do if you want to win.
Personally I don't like Cammy, with all her excellent tools, but I still respect people who can beat the best of the best with her.

It's not only about tier, but Cammy has the combination of high tier and vortex-based gameplay (and ultra-ambiguous oki), which a lot of people find difficult to get excited by.
