I think a lot of characters would be able to focus dash forward through his 2-hit s.mk anyway, since a lot of characters duck down during their dashes.

Yeah, Vega suffers from this as well on his s.fk against Ryu, Akuma and some others. It's a pretty superficial change, as you can already use different normals to keep people from focusing. All this does is maybe increase the damage done by 20 or so.

Yeah, I might play before that, if I bother to play with a keyboard. Do you people recommend that? Is it rather a keyboard than not playing at all?

The netcode is okay, but it's certainly not great. As a West coast US player I can barely play against East coast US players before lag becomes intolerable, so players across either ocean are completely out of range.

I can play with people on the East coast pretty often.
Seems like it's bad inside the US but honestly, in Europe it's no problem.

As a Canadian player on the west coast, I can play with anyone in NA with full bars, and 1 bar away from full against europeans. (I forget how many bars there are total)

Only players in Asia are unplayable for me. Also I added you FakeSteve, and Arnstein! My name is Sloppy Burg. I just got this game on Wednesday so I'm down for playing against anyone! Also, playing on keyboard is definitely worth to whoever was asking. I play on a ps3 controller because it feels nicer for me, but my execution is probably 3 times better on keyboard.

What are you keyboard guys using for buttons?
I'm thinking ASDF for lp-hk (don't know what that F button trick is called) and ZXCV for lk-hk, then QWE for grab, charge and taunt.

I'm using WASD for move (like in every other game)
UIOP for punches
HJKL for kicks
Y for grab
G for focus
M for taunt

That works well for me, but to each his own

IMO if you're using keyboard it should be unnecessary to need macro buttons for P/Kx3 and Focus/Throw. You're really just slowing yourself down and making things more difficult.

QWE/ASD was pretty comfortable for me the few times I've tried playing on keyboard.

I tried playing a bit with keyboard, and it was hard as hell. I pull off spinning flame kick with Fei Long maybe 1/10, that frontflip kick I can't manage to do at all, and the forward punch combo I do maybe 3/10

My dads keyboard suck. But I will try to play later tonight, maybe I get used to it.

My laptop's keyboard cannot register tripple-kick "the normal way", so I need to use that as someone maining Juri.

And before someone goes "get a better keyboard" I'll respond with no, because I don't need it. I can play all games just fine with my laptop's one.
