I'll say America was very well repped this tournament.
No more than any other year last year was jwong in finals + more americans and year before was ricky+ more americans but well played japan
Japan sent a much bigger entourage here to the States this year, and Americans beat down more than half of them. Singaporeans also sent their own people, and then there's Poongko and Gamerbee and that Dominican Fei Long.
As far as the "International-ness" scale goes, this Evo is much, much higher than ANY previous evos, and America got 3 players in top 8 and one of them got 2nd place, taking out Daigo, Tokido, and Poongko in the progress. Juicebox, Strider, Valle, and Justin also play very good Street Fighter.
This is a bit irrelevant but we also won all the other games.
Im still shocked jwong went with rufus after playing so much yun. Juicebox let me down a lil when he played so much juri but he is a great player.

this past MLG at anaheim had way less hype in terms of on stream cause there was never any shots of the crowd after a game, it was always back to the casters. EVO is way more hype cause of the crowd and the fact that the players are right there infront of them.
next MLG i hope they focus less on the casters cause other than hearing them talk, the viewers dont really need to see them, we want to see the players' reactions and the crowd reactions.

Dude his Juri was whack. I never agree with switching either, but his Yuri was a nice surprise.

Don't be hatin, Juice's Juri is gdlk.
And he bodied the original Abel Shiro with Abel
Everyone was going nuts when he did that. Just so many great storylines in Evo and sick comebacks.

Don't care who he plays. As long as he has a dance for their Ultra, I will be happy.

Don't be hating on Juri, didn't you see Weird Neo take out Gamer Bee in the "Capcom Points" fights :D
And i'd have to say SF itself is so much more fun and exciting to watch and play then Starcraft is...

I was kind of happy that Jwong went back to rufus. His rufus is amazing and the japanese have way more experience against yun than jwong does playing it. And i cant remember where i read it but the japanese players a while ago were saying us had the best rufus'. Though i do agree with you on juicebox. His able is so good i dont know why he went with juri at the end
