Alves passes to Mascherano, Mascherano passes to Puyol, Puyol passes to Abidal, Abidal passes to Maxwell, Maxwell passes to Xavi, Xavi passes to Iniesta, Iniesta passes to Valdes, Valdes passes to himself. The year when that pathetic referee got Chelsea knocked out then the journos and people claiming 'football won' was a slap in the face to defenders and tacticians everywhere. Inter defending their lead at the Camp Nou last year perfectly and watching Barcelona try every dirty little trick they could to outdo a team with the right tactics against them was far more entertaining than watching one team dominate another for 90 minutes. Total Football is a terrible ideal for teams to try and live up to, because only one team can hog all the possession at a time. | ||

But regardless. League play is basically done. This first game is just a warm up! as long as Madrid takes the cup AND knocks out Barca from champions ill be one happy dude. edited for clarity | ||
