After that SC1 vanilla, Brood War and then maybe stuff like Age of Empires because of the little history lessons. I actually remembered quite a lot as a kid and then aced all my history tests. ^_^

SC2 campaign was just bad. Decent gameplay, but it didn't really match the addictive fun of stacking up your heroes and soloing bases (Illidan, Frozen Throne Human campaign soloed the game on hard with him lol.) And the story. don't get me started on that lol.

Seriously, turning the Eiffel Tower into an omgwtfbbqmegadeathlazor never gets old. So many wacky, out there missions in that game, but enough normal build base --> steamroll missions too. And RA2 is a riot anyway. WC3 campaign needs no introduction. The campaign was just epic.

BEST LEVEL EVER. I played that level so many freaking times... that one priest was a fucking commando priest. It was like playing as the symbian lybanese army in a video game.

Between everything going on between Arthas and Illidan I can't vote for any other RTS. They had the badass rivalry and badass back stories to match. SC2 was pretty meh, as was said earlier in this thread. It needed a reformed Paladin and a Demon Hunter. Instead you were constantly reminded how fragile, but important, you were to the grand scheme of things. Playing through the campaign with hero units lends itself to story better I think. Like in War 3 Frozen Throne when you're losing levels as a Death Knight, and gaining them as a Crypt Lord, you have to fight a boss. Crypt Lord labels the enemy as truly powerful and goes, "FIGHT AS YOU'VE NEVER FOUGHT BEFORE." Got me all fired up.

I guess it's more of a RTT... Real Time Tactical. Hard to fit it in a genre, as there aren't really any games that play quite like Myth. The multiplayer was so much fun.

and there was something deeply satisfying about using the Death Star to blow up a planet. Where else could the Death Star clear the planet of Yavin 4 and fire off its shot before Luke could fire the proton torpedos into the exhaust port?
