Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a very fun co-op, puzzle and action game.

I definitely recommend the games, the campaign is pretty fun; and although you are right that DoW II and DoW campaigns don't offer replay value. Dark crusade offers a risk style campaign that can keep you playing for hours with different factions. Besides, the multiplayer community of DoW is still alive and kicking with the elite mod. In the end if you are only interested in the singleplayer I think you can get up to 30 or 40 hours of entertainment.
I think I am going to get Bastion and also get the Mount & Blade Collection. Both of those games for only about 12.50 US. I don't think I can resist. Steam stop taking all my money!!!

The series is so cheap, does it really matter if it doesn't have any replay value? I bought that series a while ago and beat them all and never touched multi in any of them. Don't regret purchase since the campaigns were fun.
Thanks all I picked up Bastion and humble bundle (was considering binding of isaac for a while now anyways). I'll look out for those other recommendations as well.

Umm...... it's pretty short. First time I played it(rented) I beat the story in about 6 hours. The game is kinda about speed and flow though, so it's not that big of a deal that the actual length of the game is short, I've speedrunned the entire thing in less than an hour, but the levels all feel varied enough(8 or 9 levels), and they explore their concepts fully without overstaying their welcome. Think portal 1, not huge, but does what it needs to do and doesn't feel like anything is left out or abruptly ends. There's also a lot of little time trial challenges, kind of checkpoint/marker based race against the clock style. Gunplay is a little simplistic, not that many kinds of guns, only can use them until the clip runs out, basically unsatisfying spray and pray, but it's not meant to be a shooter anyway. The combat itself is kind of fun(especially kicking people off of roofs) when you get good at it though, can be super mobile and strike from all angles, disarm all the enemies in cool ways, etc, though almost all fights are generally meant to be avoided. The story isn't executed as strongly as it could have been, kind of lacks development, though the idea isn't bad, definitely the weakest part of the game though. If you like games about speed and flow, then it's definitely a lot of fun.
I'd still recommend it, since the price is still good even not on sale for $10, though I got it for 5 some time ago. It's still a good game even if it has flaws. I spent 3 times more($15) to see the hobbit for one 10th of the entertainment time. I regret neither.

psychonauts is a steal at 2.50 USD. great deal for people who never got to play it and for people who have already played it but don't have it anymore. fair warning, there's like a good chunk in the middle that i found through all of my playthroughs throughout the years to be pretty unfun but the whole ride is worth the time it takes to play (like ~10 hours if your diligent/obsessive)
i also got bastion for 7.50 USD and the witcher for 2.50 USD. bastion is a blast and is exactly what i was looking for; i would describe it as final fantasy tactics meets skyrim. haven't gotten into the witcher; i expect not to really care for it too much but for 2.50 really any amount of experience i get from it will allow me to have decent returns.

i played both clear sky and shadow without mod and they are really good if you like this kind of game.
