Not really knowledgeable about processing cores and such but apparently the fix above 'unparks' all your cores to be 'accessed' during big fights. If you are cpu bound (alt-f shows cpu most of the time) then this apparently gives you a +20 fps boost. I've tried the application but have not had a chance to try the results yet. I'll let you know. | ||

I think flash lights are even more trap. Started playing like 2 or 3 days ago and they've had to restart the EU server I'm on 5 times. Compelling reasons given for the restarts: %reason, Bouncing World, Quick Restart and 2 times nothing. e: make that 6 restarts, recent reason "locking out external players" whatever the fuck that means | ||

I'll give this a shot as well-- I'm *always* CPU-bound at 20-40 FPS in any sort of significant fight with a mid-range i7. | ||

Its unplayable in a massive 3 way. I was part of a fight at the Crown that was probably 1000vs1000vs1000(or more) and I was visable plain as day and could see other infils plain as day. Most standard battles you'll be fine. The sniper is best in a battles thats has a few hundred. You are invisable, VERY VERY hard to see. Oh anyone looking to cert farm Get the AMS on a sunderer and have a huge zerg spawn at it during a huge battle. I gained 500 certs in like 2 hours(+65% exp from my boost and lower pop). Absolutly rediculous | ||

You can actually trial the weapon for half an hour so you can decide whether or not it's worth buying before you buy it. | ||

If anyone's curious, the 1000-cert-costing rocket launchers do the same damage as the default ones and take 3 full seconds to lock on. The lock on is so shitty that it makes more sense to just shoot the rockets asap, like a dummy launcher, so you can start reloading. | ||

I have it too, I definitely dumb fire it most of time time cause I'm at close range or shooting a non moving target. But I've definitely found the lock-on to be useful sometimes | ||
