1) For classes with overlapping weapons/skills (i.e. C4, frag grenades), do you have to unlock it for each class separately or just once?
2) I can't seem to find an option to change audio output device and when I try using my USB headset the game doesn't seem to detect it. Is there a way to change audio output or am I out of luck?
C4 is seperate. Health kits are universal though. And as for the audio I'd check the ini file in the game directory, can't remember if its in there though.
It should work if you set your default audio device to the USB headset in windows before starting the game.
Engineer and Light assault guns are universal as well. I think some shotguns may be used by more than one class as well, but I'm not sure, I have never bought one.
So now I'm trying to log in and just nothing happens when I select a character and hit play! Uggg this game!
I like this game, so I've bought sevencash for 15 dollars. I won't buy any more, but now they got a little support from me at least. I think they deserve it!
Is there a way to know where are big outfits groups going aside from scanning the whole map by going zone by zone with a plane and looking at map for high tanks / sundees concentrations ? It seems that you can't see those further than one or two zones from yours...
We managed to play the whole evening with the "Wasp" outfit this way and it was very cool once again.
I think joining big organized groups is a must for having fun ( and getting 150+ creds / hour ) but its a hassle to take 15 mins to find them since they don't create open squads anymore..
PS : if you play light assault, invest in the damn jetpack upgrade, I can pratically fly on lvl 3 upgrade

How do you buy upgrades? I have no idea how and didn't know you could O_O.

You can't find outfits or big groups of allies directly but what you can do however is look for high enemy activity. Usually there are just as many friendlies nearby:

You have to relog after weapon purchase, it's a little buggy right now. After relogging it should be available instantly.

Really want to find an outfit to play with. Dont care what server or what faction, just one thats pretty relaxed. Do you need to be invited to outfits?

Yeah, it's a little slow going...I've got about ~100 after two or three days
Are you guys sitting around at the warpgate?
100 is about what you get in 2 hours of play if you get into a big battle. Just look on the map for something with a lot of enemies, go there and shoot everything that doesn't have the same color as you. You can also go medic or engineer for hundreds of extra XP from repairing/healing.
I just started playing yesterday and I was having a lot of trouble. I finally grinded out 100 Certs and bought the XM98 Sniper Rifle. Good God does it make my life easier! The starting rifle for the infiltrator class does absolutely no damage and this one is a HUGE step up! I would recommend it to anyone just starting out.
anyone else has this weird bug with night vision scopes that ennemies just appear black and not white at all? It seems to only work like 15% of the time T_T
I do not play this game since my desktop is unable to do so, but I am curious about the politics of the game. I am guessing that ideology roleplay would be difficult to pull off at the moment, but there are 3 factions, and looking at some games, you see that one faction is completely dominating the game while the two lesser factions are weak but still fighting one another. Is there some sort of alliance system that works more or less like "The enemy of my enemy is my friend?"
And adding ideology to the New Conglomerate would be fun. Arguing with one another about social democracy, republicanism, socialism, communism, libertarianism, and anarchism would be so much fun, but like I said, impossible and plain stupid since people are here to enjoy war, not politics.
