There will also be character progression via certification so your character can be more badass in the way you wanna play.

So far it looks really cool, though I'm still not quite sure what makes it an MMO cause all I've seen in the VODs is matches and those all look standard FPS. They aren't matches -- it's just one, persistent world that thousands of people are fighting over at any given time.

TB played in a tech demo that was set up to showcase the game. In order to make it interesting for viewers they basicly made a small enclosed arena where everyone spawned all the time just like a standard FPS match. This was done because otherwise letting 30 people use the entire continent made for 2k players nothing would happen because no one would meet eachother for a while. So while TB's video looks like arena matches that is because they wanted to limit the size because of the very limited number of players at the time.

looked like command and conquer or some other rts...from above, like 50+ tanks in sort of a line making their way up a mountain road to the tower

![]() Also, enjoy. Pretty sure they work in values of 10. + Show Spoiler [large image] + ![]() + Show Spoiler [map of erasmir] + ![]() Also, on TTK. Modern shooters, like CoD for instance and the like, have a very low TTK. Around 0.2-0.4 seconds, when 0.2 seconds is the average peak time it takes for a human to react to something. You can all see why this is an issue if it is that low, since it turns into who sees who first, not who is the better shot. A lot of reports of people in the tech test is that the TTK is around 0.8-1.0 seconds. This is great, great, great news.

I'm guessing that's what was meant anyways. If that is the case its good news. I'm not a big fan of the whole CoD whoever shoots first wins style.

Basically how long an average weapon takes to drop someone. If you get shot at you don't just melt instantly, you have time to run for cover and start firing back and even win if you're good.

Plus the longer it takes the easier it is for a good player to come out ahead.
