Spent 3 hours in a Magrider gunning killing Prowlers and whatever aircraft was dumb enough to take us head on. What I really want to see is the ability to have full on strategic warfronts, where you can plan out a blitz evening and hit the enemy hard, trying to get as much territory as you can before a solid defence force can be mustered to try and stop you. This as well as making the overall war effort something that you can heavily effect with a good guild will be what truely sets this game apart from all of the other ADD shooters out there right now. Planning and tactics should trump shooting/driving skill, at least in my opinion. | ||

It was no longer "Haha, I'm a higher level and have better gear so you can't possibly win". It was more about the player's individual skills, not how much time they spent grinding. This helped even the playing field for those players that couldn't spend hours a day on the game, but who may be quicker learners/have better reflexes. Planning and tactics have a huge part, but a highly organized and well thought out plan shouldn't (and won't) help you win if your entire force shoots like Stormtroopers. | ||

To me it seems more like they fly like a jet helicopter or something. the scythe is what you are thinking of, i believe. it can stop and go really fast and change directions really ez the others fly normally as for stalling, i am unsure, i know that they take off like helis and fly like planes. | ||

(note how many are already dead...wasn't the most succesful MAX crash ever) In planetside 2 we will probably see similar things but on an even larger scale due to the increased continent capacities. personally i'm hoping each continent will have multiple large battles on a couple of different fronts rather than just 1 massive zerg over 1 objective at a time, all depends on how the players organise themselves when the time comes I suppose ![]() | ||
