I think it's 6 C4 or 5 tank mines. I think it's a great change, makes it hard to take out Sunderers solo and encourages teamplay to take them out. They are still vulnerable enough against groups of enemies using sustained fire.

I was feeling really salty after fighting the Vanu for a while with mass magrider and other vehicle spam but once our platoon moved to fight the TR over an amp station with ~ 50/50 pop lots of fun was had. It was nice seeing all the new (to me) outfit tags but in the mass battles it was hard to get even a glimpse of the personalities and styles of each outfit though of course that will come in time. As much as I love the removal of the aquisition timers and the boon to dedicated pilots and drivers the new resource system rate really needs to be toned down a bit as some of the battles against the VS were pretty much farcical with magriders vying for space in the courtyard of armour to try and lob their shells at us poor souls trying to arm a generator.

The VS on Miller were already pretty PPA magrider heavy before the merge and nanite update - now it's 10 times worse. I think most of them forgot how to walk and their legs are atrophied from only crawling the distance from a spawnroom to the closest vehicle terminal. Both Miller and Woodman had a VS zergfit with ~2500 members each. Now they both zerg around together.

lets face it: every faction has them, zergfits or not (its not like a dig member or a random would make any difference in an open platoon....) . and its not even fun to stand around a base with nothing to do for 5 minutes. it not even gives you cers..... TR on miller for example lost their overpop with the merge, and they sure dont like it.... and if there are 20 tanks around your base, it really doesnt matter what faction they are or what wepon they have... also: every weapon of the other factions is op and needs to be nerved. and of course the own stuff could use a buff... Its psychology 101: If I win its skill, if they win its unfair or luck.

http://www.reddit.com/r/ServerSmash/comments/2dvby1/next_two_matches_announced_connery_v_emerald_sept/ Emerald vs Connery might be fun to watch while Briggs vs Connery will probably be very 1-sided since the Aussies on Briggs don't really have the player pool to pull a lot of skilled players from. Either way: More ServerSmashes to watch! ![]()

Just send me a message (Morfildur, Miller NC) and I'll send you an outfit invite if you want. Other than that, since the merge there are almost always public platoons around, often ours (FRMD / Zerg Recon) as well though it's usually so full that even outfit members have to wait occasionally - we only kick people that don't follow orders, even if an outfit member needs a spot.

Haven't played in over a week now. It depends. Sometimes it's terrible, sometimes it's okay. The merge definitely removed a lot of the enjoyment due to the server performance problems and I've been playing less as well, but I still log in every day because there is no other game I can enjoy as much. I'm hoping they fix it very soon, though I'm not sure fixing it is even possible without a fifth or sixth continent to spread the population out more.

And while I dislike the new alert thing, wow are those giving tons of points for doing nothing.

Only annoying thing is that there are more solo outfits with tons of veterans ... its really hard to snipe their medics with overcustomized characters and them being able to always hit your head. And while I dislike the new alert thing, wow are those giving tons of points for doing nothing. Did you come from Woodman to Miller? Miller has a few outfits and players that can really blow your mind, most of them from INI, MCY and RO, players that headshot you with any weapon from 200m away like it's nothing. It makes it exciting to match up to them on the battlefield though and makes it even sweeter when you wipe out a squad of them.

On the ground though I don't really fear them, sure they are above average individually but I really don't think too much about them compared to INI at least. Maybe I've just been lucky when I've fought them but I usually come out ok vs RO ![]()
