There are usually a bunch of squads running at any time open to the public that let you not play alone, you can just look at the list and join a random one and you instantly have a team to work with, and they are almost always fine with new players and they help find good battles.
I think I'm gonna start playing this game again. Sorry for kinda leaving the VS outfit alone, I just sort of lost interest in the game; I think I played it a bit too much in too short a span of time and got burnt out.
I feel like I missed a lot now and wish I kept playing...
Damn I forgot how fun this game is. Even after the 6+ months since I last played the teamwork is still amazing. It's why I love this fps lol just was too lazy to reinstall and glad I did.
Wish more fps games had teamwork like this one because it just makes the game soooo much more fun :D.
Between the performance update and my replacement pc parts, my game's been running like a dream. I can even stream ops now consistently so far. Check it out if you want to see QRY and PREY teaming up against my new outfit nightly. XD
Those might be the longest patchnotes for any game patch ever, and i agree with almost all of them.
I thought the game was amazing when it launched, but the devs really keep adding to it. Since the OMFG patch, i can even stream without dropping to 10 FPS.

One thing to me that I didn't agree with is why did the Scythe get such a tiny reload time change compared to the other two, when it seems like the best nose weapon already?

If i remember correctly, the Scythe nose guns are actually the worst with ok-ish sustained DPS but significantly slower projectiles compared to the NC and TR variants (550m/s vs 650m/s).
Found this google docs spreadsheet with the actual math. According to it, the DPS value is just slightly above the TR weapons and has basically the same relative performance to before.

Nah since the previous update it has the fastest projectile I forget the exact value, can't get in game to look, it's somewhere between 700 and 800. But now its reload is almost half a second faster than the reaver's (with a very similar damage/mag).
These changes are really nice, especially that last one:
-Increased standard spawn options to include: Nearest Small outpost by lattice links Nearest Large outpost by lattice links -This should alleviate situations where pilots and others are downed more than one region away from a friendly territory and are stuck with no good spawn options. This change will offer the nearest small outpost and nearest large outpost in addition to the nearest major facility that is already available. This should allow those players to either join the nearest front or fall back to spawn another vehicle at a larger facility. Please note that the distance is by lattice-links, not as the crow flies. -You can now deploy at any warpgate regardless of your current continent.
Yay, with my new PC i can finally record and stream in half-decent quality while still being able to play with decent 60 FPS on Ultra. Did a test stream running with a random public platoon (apparently mostly kids, but well, it was 2pm on a friday, most people were still at work).
I also got my C4 Auraxium half-way through the video
Maybe i'll manage to stream some sessions this weekend with my usual platoon and the british platoon leader that is even more cynical than our cynical brit.
I actually just started playing this game yesterday for the 1st time, since BF4 wont let me play without having the latest drivers (anything after 314.22 with my gtx 770 makes my PC very unstable). And quite honestly, i think im having more fun than i ever did playing BF4, i really enjoy the teamwork, and semi-serious gameplay. Everyone is really nice, but also want to win and get the most out of the game, Really great! I even got invited to an Outfit! Anthem i think its called? Anyways, lots of fun.

Now I know why Dust14 on Miller sounded so familiar when I saw that name in Zukhovs platoon.

I always found it fun to be in that platoon and it's actually one of the few that use the ingame voice communication

I regret getting this gun (I got it a while ago for 350 instead of 99) and all the certs on attachments trying to make it work when it's just one of the least effective weapons I've used in the game, feels like using a handicap. Unless you want a challenge.
It's terrible up close cause of its atrocious time to kill, and terrible far away (the only thing it's better than here is shotguns and the other SMGs). Its specialty, which is hipfiring on the move at medium range is also the only thing it performs respectably at but even doing that you are not necessarily beating AR and carbine users at that range if they aim well and use cover.
The Cyclone even does that specialty just as well (it's a little better at mid-close and a little worse at mid-far, but then mid-close is usually more important too), while also being stellar rather than an awful liability at close range. Even when I plan on being mostly outdoor, I go Cyclone (which I can't rave enough about I guess, it's like my favorite weapon in the game).
