I used both. The account creation through billing.gamigogames.de worked fine. They sent me a confirmation and I activated. But it still says my account doesn't exist there, and the script within the site just spins a loading circle for 15+ minutes doing nothing.
same here... exactly
edit: Just keep trying... Try different browsers too. I finally got it working although I tried an array of different browsers until it worked... I think i just got lucky.

the game is INCREDIBLY gorgeous though and the feel is just extraordinary. but thats just first impression.
Well it's made by a German company so seeing as it's a closed beta with not very many people in it that's why you'd play in a german server in EU I'm sure we'll all be in the same server.
This game reminds me of Space Cowboys (or Air Rivals as it was called later). It was a free MMO that basically looks and plays similar to this, except with worse graphics and only 3rd person. These types of games are awesome because tactics and skill really have a big influence on your success, and tend to be very PvP focused. There were two opposing factions, and that led to epic 100v100 space battles, and naturally you had strategic points in the form of warp gates that you had to hold. A lot of times our faction and the opposing faction would be camping their respective side of the same warp gate until one side decided to zerg rush through it, and then pandemonium would break loose.
Anyway, please tell me this is open world PvP. That would be fucking amazing.
this isnt an mmo from what im reading, its an instanced space action game. theres no space exploration or journeying, you travel instantly via loading screens from one instance to another to do missions. (and no warp gates to the guy above, since you insta-load areas rather than travel through a map to them)

however eve online just had a 1 gig patch
Black Prophecy is a fast-paced 3D real-time combat space MMO with state of the art visuals playing in the dense universe crafted by the award-winning Sci-Fi author Michael Marrak.
I think your mistaking MMO with MMO-RPG. MMO simply means Massive Multiplayer Online, MMO is generally followed by the game genre.
As far as the instance thing you mention, I can tell you all about how the game works shortly after its finished patching.
mouse control feels pretty bad in this game. i dont know if its because of lag, with the server being in germany, or the actual game settings. i tried to play around with the settings and it helped maybe just a little bit, but its ridiculously jumpy and borderline unplayable.
That scares me =( I don't want to wait for open beta or even client for it to be playable. I think im close to playing. im on a 179mb patch, like the 5th after that big 897mb one.
So far my mouse is good, just have to find a good sensitivity. The only hiccups I get at all are in the cinematics and they are most likely graphic strains on my hardware. No lag really, I am playing from New England, USA.
As far as a free roam environment, it is similar to eve a little. The areas are huge and from the sound of it so far you jump from area to area using your "star map". So no, no gate camping but at the same time its quite a different game, it excels past eve in some aspects and seeing that it is a fairly new game hopefully it can meet eve in its lacking aspects eventually while staying original. As far as distances, eve is a galaxy requiring jump technology, I could be wrong but it seems BP is a much smaller scale ( only a few Solar Systems and not 4000 stars :D ) I don't know, whatever right?
It is a really cool game so far, I have to be careful though as my SC2 mechanics diminish quite fast while my attention is adverted =/
dled it played it. I find that i dont enjoy this game really at all, or atleast the way it is now. I have no idea what im doing, even when i found out what to do, it isnt really fun for me.
Does anyone from TL play this game? I just started playing, and it seems pretty cool, but I don't really understand what to do in the game. It really does seem like a closed beta, as there is very little content after you get past the prologue (although the prologue IS really awesome).
I joined the Genides as their ships seemed pretty cool, but right now I dunno what to do. I used to play Space Cowboys/Ace Online, but after that game switched ownership I sorta lost interest in it. Plus the graphics are absolutely terrible in that game lol.
