Patchnotes? Where.
LMG's honestly do have utter shit accuracy while ADS, but then if they want to improve on that, they need to remove the bipod from the game first.
Edit.
About some fucking time l0l. Can't believe it can take this long to implement something to integral and intuitive, much less release without it.

And holy shit, why would belt-fed LMGs need an aimed buff :F Now they not only luckshot you with their bulletrain but also actually can aim more easily instead of firing controlled when aiming =)
Where are these patchnotes you're talking about?

Also they added loadouts to battlelog so you can change them outside of the game and you can have it copy people's loadouts off their profile. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/news/view/2832654784899051935/I like this a lot, may not be fully needed but I think it's pretty neat.. Fluff feature, I don't plan on using this because I will always use my setups in-game and will never change it. I choose perks based on what the squad runs, so I'd rather get into the game and adjust from there.
This feature states that you can follow other people who use this feature. However, the people that are killing you would most likely use the M16A3/M4A1 Kobra-Heavy Barrel setup. If you can't beat them, join them.

After I went and checked it out, it's such a pain to use.. I would much rather just change my loadouts in game. And it tells you their loadout on the death screen..

This was when everyone was getting that error where they had starting weapons, haha. I leveled like 4 times that match, and I discovered that M16A3 is actually not bad at all with ACOG. I also got called a hacker AND a cunt, so that felt good too. It was actually pretty fun starting from one, I have to say.

Also, finally unlocked the M98. Jesus, sniping really just begins when you get that weapon... the laser helps with keeping your aim centered on the target before you scope in if you like aggressive sniping

So what sensitivity do you guys play on (in cm/inches for a full 360* rotation)? I'm trying to lower mine right now. Even after halving it, I do a 360 by moving my mouse 3 cm, which, from what I've read, is an order of magnitude more sensitive than average o_o.

Play with whatever you find comfortable honestly. There's no "godmode" sensitivity. Just keep lowering it until you feel comfortable enough to play a few games and get used to it.

I play with 1200 or 1600 for any infantry. 2200 for vehicles. I sometimes drop down to 800 for long range sniper shots whenever they're to be done once in a blue moon. It's all completely down to personal preference and what you're comfortable with.
I do however believe in saying that if you run super high sensitivities you lose out slightly on overall accuracy. That's somewhat made up for by always having great turning speed. Again, it's about what you're good with.

I don't know my 360 distance but I play 400 dpi (some vehicles I have to bump it up to 1800) at .1 sensitivity. I have no problems turning fast, it also helps I have a giant mouse pad (15" x 16").

Oh. I use a keyboard tray (no other option) and there is a 6" space between my keyboard and the wall of the tray, so I'm really restricted.

Hey guys I played BF3 when it came out for a few months but then went back to SC2 & Dota 2. I'm in the mood for some shooter action, so I opened origin and let it update itself and my BF3 to the latest version.
Origin is suggesting I buy some Xpacks to the game. I'm totally lost, what are they? Any essential ones? (maps, guns preferably). Or ones you can recommend? What the hell is Battlefield 3: Premium & BF3: Close Quarter Combat? Do I need to buy them to still have fun playing? I got the Karkland limited edition @ launch.

Premium is a package that gives you stuff..
- All DLC for less
- Early access to DLC (I believe this is for unlocks and not maps)
- You get put first in queue unless other premium people are there, then you get put behind them
- Some other stuff that isn't important
Close Quarters is the second DLC which has smaller more close quarters combat focused maps with 10 new guns and 2 new game modes.
You don't need to buy anything else to keep playing, you just can't play on maps or unlock stuff for the DLC you don't have.

By the way, when you reset stats as a premium, do you go back to being a level one?

Don't think so. It just resets k/d, w/l, weapon stats, ribbons, and medals. Double check before doing this, though.

Weapon stats, ribbons, medals, unlocks and level are all left alone and don't get changed at all. Was nice to reset myself and get a more up to date k/d. spm and w/l.
